“It did not put out enough Lumens. My plants were not doing well because there was just not enough light.”— Ok-Capital-8231 on Reddit
“In my experience, fluval products are just really bad compared to week/twinstar/chihiros.”— NovoRobot on Reddit
“Colors just looked poor and lighting levels weren’t good.”— DustoffOW on Reddit

“I just bought a 3.0 for my tank. I see the 4.0’s are out now and I’m wondering if I should return it while I still can for a new one?”— Hibiscus-Boi on Reddit
“It was sitting a little too close to the surface, and the light wasn’t making it to all the corners/back edge. This helps me get the light to all areas, and decreases the intensity to the plants with higher elevations on the hard scape.”— G_D_Ironside on Reddit
“Could you please share your light settings? I just got the same light yesterday and I have a 40 gallon. Hoping to make my Rotala grow better and bring out plant colors. I run CO2 as well. The light seems so yellow compared to the hygger.”— Klutzy_Cucumber9214 on Reddit
“Well jeeze. Hoping I can return it to Petco without the packaging. I’ve had it for less than a month. Thanks for the recs.”— Clapstacky4 on Reddit
“Can you tell me what you're looking to accomplish? I have a 3.0 as well and I'm curious what raising it will do.”— woopityscoop48 on Reddit
“Nah, I'm just really bad at balancing my tannin content with my water quality. Finding it hard to hit the nice "black water" without too many decaying botanicals causing an ammonia spike. Just stuck in the gross in-between gamer pee stage EDIT: OMG WAIT!!! I totally forgot I DID tweak the settings!!!”— Paper_Parasaur on Reddit
“I also use lego as a riser for my FLuval lights. It's amazing that a 2x3 brick is the perfect size to fit in the ends of the built in width adjuster. I'm just looking for a slightly more optimal design, I like your use of the steps though I might need to see if I have any of those peices laying around.”— PotOPrawns on Reddit
