Cosori PROs: helpful temp options, faster boil than coil stove, 1 hr hold, safety shut-off, frequent sale price on Amazon. Cosori CONs: max fill marker under handle, small capacity, rusted too soon

I love its separate temperature preset buttons for quick setting and not having to remember what temp is need for the coffee or tea I'm making.

I hated the Cosori. It would sputter out of the spout and splatter my grinds everywhere in my pour over (V60). Then the handle came loose after a few months.

the cosori holds the temp for 30 minutes. the problem is as soon as you take the kettle off of the burner it no longer holds.

I have the Cosori kettle (the third one) now around $100+. Great kettle, a present from my son since 2019.

No stupid presets. Seriously, do you really need a preset for coffee water?

The Cosori temp controlled gooseneck (which I also have) pours far, far faster. It's great for French press, but leaves a lot to be desired for V60s.

Therefor the Cosori best purchase out of group. I like the simple buttons on the stand as well.

Mine stopped working after a little over two years... perhaps from water getting on heating element. The kettle was expensive and I'm not pleased.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I've noticed that it doesnt heat the water as much as it should. Its a problem with light roasts.

I have this exact same model because zero plastic touches water! I can confirm it's only stainless steel! Also had it for several years and love it!

The extra time was annoying enough to curb my wandering eye.

I can confirm that there is absolutely no plastic or glue or anything that touches the water whatsoever. It’s only stainless steel and nothing else.

I have 2x Cosori ones. I bought a second one because the first one stopped beeping when I click to confirm my water has boiled.

I've had the COSORI gooseneck kettle since 2020 and it's still going strong. Easy to descale and never had an issue with it

Cosori is always my favourite, give it a try. I’ve been using mine for about 5 years now and it’s still holding up great.

Third the cosori. Only had mine a couple months but no issue so far and I love the build quality and finish.

Reddit▲ recommend

I have cosori, it's so helpful. The only thing I ever have to be careful about is buildup on the bottom.

We’ve been using the Cosori goose neck for years. The hero of my pour-over coffee routine.

Reddit▲ recommend

I can second the Cosori, it’s been a solid workhorse for me for about 4 years now too.

Reddit▲ recommend

I really like my Cosori gooseneck, I’ve been using it almost daily for several years.

The Cosori Smart Electric Gooseneck Kettle is a great option for an electric kettle.

Common problems & things to know

Practical notes owners raise — setup, quirks, and issues to watch for. They don't say whether the person likes the product, so they're not counted in the score, but they inform the pros, cons, and who it's for.

I’m having a hard time finding the ottoni one in Canada. Has your list changed at all? I think the quality of the stainless steel also matters which worries me a bit about the cheaper cosori ones.

So if I specifically want a gooseneck, the Cosori is the best? Thank you for this!

Redditⓘ good to know

It's definitely an option. Like if the price just doesn't drop anytime soon. More just looking to do more research and having seen the other brands really drop in price. What were the main reasons you got the Greater Goods after having the Cosori? Was it just to get a more pour over specialized kettle?
