BenQ HT2060

Based on 56 comments across 4 communities
TL;DR
A widely praised sub-$1,000 projector loved for class-leading contrast, black levels, and color that rival far pricier units, plus a long-life LED light source. The catch is it's 1080p, not 4K.

80% of 56 verified owners recommend the BenQ HT2060.

I recently bought the HT2060 after getting the TH575. Picture is beautiful but I also am sensitive to the slight buzzing noise which I believe is the color Wheel.

I have the HT2060. Depending on the source, it has a MAGNIFICENT picture! You almost wouldn't know it's "only" 1080p. I'm filling a 150" diagonal 16x9 screen and sit about 13-14 feet away.

I just received the HT2060, and it looks great. The only problem I see is that it produces a weird noise, which I don't think is the fan. It becomes annoying after some time.

I also have the Benq HT2060 with Panasonic 420UBDP 4k Player and seating around 8.5-9.5ft with a 100 inch screen and have to be honest, only big difference that I notice between 4k and 1080p would be the HDR.

I recently bought the HT2060 to replace a W1070. The extra brightness and the quality of the image from the LED rather than bulb, mean the picture is even better than the 1070

Ordered a ht2060 and the entire image would not focus no matter how perfectly I lined it up or fiddled with zoom and focus wheel idk but benq been ass for me

I tried a HT2060 but apparently I’m the RBE sensitive type, so it’s heading back.

RBE for gaming and sports at 60hz is not much of an issue, I'm watching Indian Wells and football matches just fine.

I have an HT2060. It's LED, "bulbs" should last 30,000 hours (well beyond when I would replace it). It's in my basement, no real windows nearby, so I have no issues watching during the day.

now that I have spent a few more hours with it in a darker environment, I do think the RBE (rainbow effect) is worse on this HT2060 than on the W1070. I could not see the RBE on the W1070, but I have noticed it a couple of times so far with the HT2060

I have never owned a projector before the HT2060 that arrived just a handful of days ago and I am pretty disappointed. Watching 1080p source material being mirrored from my 2019 macbook pro (2880 × 1800) to the projector, and the laptop just looking miles sharper even with only 1080p content just bums me out.

It’s not 4K, but the contrast and color is so good that it doesn’t bother me at all: the HT2060 BenQ. Check it out, it’s considered one of the very best projectors on the market for the price

I bought the HT2060 and no rainbow but before that I had the benq x3000 and although pictures looked significantly better, I did see the rainbow quite a bit for subtitles and it drove me nuts.

It's a great projector, but having made the jump to 4K laser, I don't think I could go back. The difference isn't night and day if you aren't comparing them directly, but when I rapidly flipped back and forth between the 2060 and a 4K projector, I could definitely see it.

I have the 2060 and have had mixed results...had to rma unit due to dust inside sealed lens portion.

I ended up returning the TK700 because to me, the picture didn’t have nearly the pop the 2060 had. The black bars on a widescreen movie were black on the 2060 and they were lighter gray on the tk700.

I bought one and just returned it this past week due to the focus issue.

I bought the Benq HT2060 and if I didn't know better, I would suspect it is 4K when it is not. I find that the color and the contrast make all the difference.

Benq HT2060 hands down in my opinion. It piggybacks on the impressive 2050 which I have and love for 1080p. So from that angle I can speak from experience.

I have HT2060 and its color and black levels can’t be beaten by any projector in that class. Picture quality is much better than Epson 2350 or HC3200.

I have a benq ht2060 that I got new open box with full warranty for $750. It's not something you would really want to use in an uncontrolled lit room but it does have a really good picture and great black levels.

I just recently got the BenQ HT2060 and have been completely blown away with its picture quality, responsiveness while gaming, and it's ease of use.

I’m currently using this in our basement setup to hold a BenQ HT2060 (the cheapest projector I own and only 1080p but the best contrast I’ve seen below $3000-$4000 so I’m rocking it until OLEDs get a little larger…)
