Cuisinart DCC-3200

Based on 12 comments across 1 community
TL;DR
Owners who love this Cuisinart praise it for brewing genuinely hot, good-tasting coffee with easy controls and adjustable strength, and many have kept theirs running for years. The most common complaints are inconsistent longevity, with some units failing after a year or two, plus dripping and leaking from the carafe or base. If hot coffee and simple programmability matter most to you, it is a solid value, but expect some unit-to-unit variation in how long it lasts.

I currently use a Cuisinart Dcc3200 and a Moccamaster CDG. Cuisinart like to make a clicking noise as the brew cycle ends whereas the Moccamaster is silent except for the initial suction noise.

I got this one albeit with the thermal carafe and from a local store about a month ago and the auto setting works great. Very happy with its performance.

I did purchase, and promptly returned, the Cuisinart 14 Cup Glass Carafe, Fully Automatic DCC-3200P1. The reason for the return was because the machine wobbles due to the plastic feet/pieces on the bottom that prevent it from standing level.

My [Cuisinart DCC3200](https://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-DCC-3200-PerfecTemp-Programmable-Coffeemaker/dp/B00MVWGQX0) yields coffee when using the "Bold" (apparently, it makes the coffee stronger by somewhat increasing the brew temperature and holding it in the basket a minute or two longer) function coffee in the carafe at 140 F. This one has a wide shower head, and with just a touch of prep (like pre-warming the basket, by running a cup of water through before adding the grounds) I can achieve results basically indistinguishable from my best V60 brews. This Cusinart has just one downside: at the grind setting I like, I can’t brew more than 9 or so cups at a time; anything from 10 a

The cuisinart 14 cup coffee maker is not worth the effort to unpack it. The maker drips water when the lid is opened, the pot drips when pouring. Putting water into the unit is difficult and messy.

Ive been excessively cleaning mine for the past few days and it finally doesnt taste bitter anymore but it still tastes like hot water with a splash of coffee no matter how much coffee I use. It was perfect for two years before that and it's been kept immaculately clean so i'm losing patience troubleshooting...

This coffee maker offers the same ease of use, pleasing aesthetic, and reliable operation I expect with a Cuisinart coffee maker. The temperature control works well - I am someone would likes super hot coffee, and the highest temp setting meets my preference, whereas my previous maker was not able to get the coffee to my liking. There is noticeable differenc

I’ve had one for twenty years! It was a bridal shower gift in the fall of 2006. It was used the first few years only on weekends the a few days a week until Covid hit and it was used everyday. In the last 2-3 years I noticed water underneath the machine every time I used it.

We've gone through three of these coffee makers, and they’ve all brewed excellent coffee, which is what matters most. The controls are straightforward and easy to use, and overall, the machine is nearly perfect—except for one issue. Since we prefer strong coffee and use more grounds than average, even on the "bold" setting (which slows down the water flow),

I LOVE this machine. It’s easy to use, makes a lot of coffee for the crowd of people that can be at my parent’s house, and I’ve never had any issues with in any location. Before having the 14 cup at my house, I had the 12 cup for many years and finally the burner stopped working. It’s a workhorse. The burner heat can be adjusted - hottest coffee all the way!
