I had a tiny 3-cup Bodum Chambord French press that I accidentally dropped in the sink while washing it and there went 15 years of use and many memories.

Been a minute since I lived in a dorm, but my faithful electric kettle and Bodum Chambord French press survived through my entire 5-1/2 year college career.

There was a period of my life when I was sleep deprived and went through three or four glasses in about that many months... I should have gotten a stainless one years ago I think.

I replaced my bodum with a SS version from some no name brand after breaking what was probably my 15th carafe. No difference other than needing to preheat the carafe to avoid temperature issues.

Bodum Chambord French presses are the best. I own a 12 cup and a 4 cup of that model. Those are fine pieces of machinery. They're a bit more expensive, but it is completely worth it.

I’ve had problems with the dishwasher as they are no longer made of glass. Even the expensive ones.

I have a 11 year old Bodum Chambord french press that still looks new. Sure it cost $40 up front but had I spent $15 on an Ikea plastic press I would have replaced it by now.

Re: “glass breaks easily”— sure. I’ve replaced my carafe a few times.

I use Bodum Chambord French presses. Grounds go in the compost (a cupping spoon is quite helpful for this), then I rinse the vessel and put everything into the dishwasher. As the small 0.35L ones are only 10€ per piece, I have two.

Good brand. Be careful though, they break easily. I broke mine too.

I bought my Bodum Chambord french press in the late 1980s. Looks great and still going strong with the same glass.

My FP is fine and not really too bad to clean.

I bought this one and it definitely costs more, but it's pretty big and I like it quite a bit

I've also accidently broken the glass twice.

Nutze eine Bodum Chambord French Press. Hat deutlich mehr Aroma und lässt sich vernünftig reinigen und da wird nicht der Kaffee durch vergammelte Reste gepresst, wie bei den meisten Vollautomaten.

We have a Bodum Chambord French Press and a Bialetti Moka Expresso for on the stove. We fell in love with the process of making a good cup of coffee.

I have the same Bodum Chambord French Press in glass. I've been using this one for about 2 decades so far without any accidents (knock on wood).

I use a Bodum Chambord french press (34oz) I ordered from Amazon. It's been holding up over a year now with no problems. It's roughly 40$.

I have a Mr. Coffee Simple Grind and a Bodum Chambord French Press. Works perfectly for me.

I have a Bodum Chambord. Nowadays I mainly use it to froth up milk, but it's a great French Press at making coffee and, at least in my opinion, looks a lot better than most other French Presses.

And I love it; it is so easy to use and makes the whole ritual of coffee-making so much more pleasurable for me.

I like that the Bodum chambord has a replaceable beaker option in case the glass shatters (it happens)
