Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody Gaming Chair

Based on 124 comments across 3 communities
TL;DR
Owners overwhelmingly praise the Embody Gaming Chair for transformative back and posture support during long work and gaming sessions, backed by excellent build quality and a long warranty. The minimal-padding, mesh-like design molds to your body and stays breathable, though it's firm and takes some getting used to. The high price is the main sticking point, and a minority report seat-bar pressure on the thighs, occasional creaking, and the lack of a headrest.

77% of 124 verified owners recommend the Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody Gaming Chair.

I've got a logitech embody, but I can't recommend it as I'm 5'11 so a bit taller. It's a good chair for me though

I like mine a lot, but it is very expensive. I felt it was worth it because I work from home and then stay in the same chair for gaming, etc. I've used the Herman Miller Aeron, as well as Steelcase Gesture, and chose the Embody over those.

My Cyan one gets swapped in 2 Weeks because of the mentioned missing seat foam.

I recently got my hands on a Logitech x Herman Miller embody gaming chair and I think it is well worth every penny.

I was recently looking for a chair and ended up getting the Logitech "gaming" Herman Miller Embody. It does not have a headrest, but I don't miss it.

When I extend the seat, the padding does not also extend along with the seat. There is a noticeable pressure on my legs from the spines of the seat of the chair and after a few minutes it causes some pain in my legs.

I use an Embody as I sit in my chair for hours. That’s not to say if you buy one you will like it. Find the chair which allows you to sit in it for hours and your body doesn’t feel like you have sat in a chair for hours when you finally get up.

I got a steeply discounted Herman Miller Embody chair through a contact at my old job, but over time it’s not as comfortable as I’d hoped. I have an Aeron at the office and it’s noticeably better for long periods of sitting.

Having sat on the Logitech Embody for a day, I like the uniqueness of the seat. It's not super padded, but it's comfortable!

i prefer my Titan Evo 2022 Softweave BLACK3 over my works Herman Miller Embody X Logitech Gaming Chair.

The Herman Miller Logitech Embody gaming chair is the best. Its better then my old CXO Nightingale.

Its dead quiet and that's why I picked it over the Logitech version of the chair which notorious for being noisy also I don't like Sync fabric it's too slippery for me.

I see why people complain about the armrests after a few days of using mine, but otherwise I got mine at a similar price and have no other complaints.

I still have a “gaming” chair but it’s the Herman Miller / Logitech Embody chair. $1500 I know I know. But I sit at my job for 12 hours a night and then I come home and play games seated. So investing in a good, supportive chair was imperative for me.

the embody was comfortable, but it just didn't suit my needs for gaming, the back support was great and comfy but the arm adjustability lacked

As others pointed out they are spendy, but if you have the coin they are (in my opinion anyway) the most comfortable chairs ever made. They come with a 12 year warranty (which covers everything about the chair, literally) that's hard to beat and free delivery (in my case anyway).

I had very high hopes for the comfort levels of the Herman Miller x Logitech Embody, and while it's still a top 20% chair for overall comfort, it hasn't quite lived up to those expectations.

I like the shoulder support and the seat on the embody but the aeron just seems better for sitting in more attentive situations

bought a Herman Miller Embody Logitech gaming chair and while it was expensive, it's a dream to sit on for hours upon hours. It's an investment

even after multiple months of messing with it I just couldn't get comfortable. Always felt like it was prodding my back somewhere

Much more comfy as a lounge chair (I like to tuck my leg), but the Aeron feels better for posture and work.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I’m getting extreme tightness in my left glute causing radiating pain down my left leg. I can no longer sit on the chair.

Reddit▲ recommend

As someone with a screwed up back I can recommend it highly. It is very expensive but if you roll it into the costs associated with back surgery it might seem more reasonable. Definitely get the fully adjustable version with the "BackFit" adjustment.
