TL;DR
Owners are sharply split: many call it the most durable, adjustable and comfortable chair they've owned and credit it with ending back pain, while just as many find the firm seat punishingly hard, get back or tailbone pain, and hit build issues like creaking and splitting armrests.

62% of 325 verified owners recommend the Secretlab Titan Evo, based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

You are right about the seat plastics to the leather(fake leather) making noise.

I bought one a few months ago and have really liked it so far.

PLEASE dont waste your money..had this chair for a year, biggest regret. Way overhyped

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

The sitting area is hard as ROCK, very uncomfortable.

Its solid and quality product, but I prefer a soft cozy chair.

I've had my Secretlab chair since 2015... Almost 10 years later and it JUST started to wear on the fake leather where you sit. Great chair.

I just received this chair today and I will say the seat is a little too hard for me, the chair design and build quality is great, but the seat is just a little too firm.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Most firm seat I have ever sat on.

Reddit▲ recommend

I went against what most folks have said about gaming chairs and got a Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 and it is definitely more comfortable than any other chair I've sat on.

can confirm the seat & back are hard as a park bench

YouTube▲ recommend

Video: it is amazing chair.

The overall material feels like a knockoff softweave of my actual chair. While it's not perfect, I understand that there had to be some compromises in order to make this skin removable and machine washable.

I kind of have a love hate relationship with mine.

Reddit▲ recommend

I have a Secretlab Titan Evo and it’s honestly one of the most comfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

the seat is so hard and uncomfortable. I have never had lower back pain issues and started getting them bad within hours

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

These chairs are garbage, I'm sorry. They are INCREDIBLY uncomfortable, I regret my purchase every single day I sit in it.

YouTube▲ recommend

I highly recommend the chair.

The only one issue I can't accept is magnetic pillow skin isn't detachable and it is no way to wash the pillow in a wash machine because of memory foam.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Yep, overrated and overpriced.

My spouse and I have had no issues with ours in the seven years we have owned them

Seat cushion was the most comfortable out of the aeron, leap v2, embody, and secretlab titan evo I've tried.

YouTube▲ recommend

No problems sitting in these after 10-12 hour periods at all, and they seem very durable as well.

My wife loves her Secretlab Titan Evo. It is a little hard on the butt though. We got the "big and tall" version thinking it would last longer. She has to use a cushion to protect her tush.

it's the least comfortable chair I have ever sat in

Common problems & things to know

Practical notes owners raise — setup, quirks, and issues to watch for. They don't say whether the person likes the product, so they're not counted in the score, but they inform the pros, cons, and who it's for.

Redditⓘ good to know

Out of the box, a common complaint with the Secretlab Titan Evo is that the armrests are too far apart, even with the width adjustment.

Redditⓘ good to know

When people say it's firm, it's pretty firm

Redditⓘ good to know

I use it 8 hours a day, pretty much everyday for the last 6 years lol. We are build different

Redditⓘ good to know

I could have written this exact post. Re the armrests, I recently had cause to remove them and when I did I noticed that in addition to being able to adjust the width of them once installed, it was possible to move them to a slightly narrower position when attaching them to the chair.
