TL;DR
A rugged, very bright EDC flashlight (up to 2,800 lumens) with long runtime on a 21700 cell and a dual-button tail interface that survives heavy drops. Common gripes: a slight green beam tint and a bulky, chunky body.

I have the Pd36R Pro and find it useless for camping. Mode memory is not what I prefer as I never know what level it will come on at.

Seconding the PD36R Pro. Been using it for years. Only complaint is I wish I could have turbo rather than strobe on the second switch.

On my fenix pd36r pro sft40 tint is green too. On high and turbo everything is okay. But on other fenix with this emitter tint is ok.

In colder conditions is often take my PD36R pro. While not perfect, the switches in the end are easy to find and ok to distinguish. Love those dual rear switches, but miss shortcuts to low and turbo.

I bought the Fenix PD36R Pro in the red camo colour. The reasoning is the light is reputable, built tough, small, waterproof, is as bright as she'll need in practically any situation, it has an easy dual tailswitch with instant strobe, 2800 lumens with a throwy but decently wide spill

I just got a Fenix PD36R Pro. Very unimpressed for $120.00. Returned it today. Waiting for my SK40 to be delivered tomorrow!!

I was in the same boat and bought the Fenix PD36R PRO. It improves almost everything, but I miss the side button.

if I'm going somewhere that I would need the most reliable light without all the bells and whistles it would be the [Fenix Pd36r Pro](https://i.imgur.com/Ufcra07.jpg). The SFT70 emitter is great.

I detest any light with a flexible rubber charging port cover such as this one. There's no way it will last the way I would use it...

Another Fenix light with marketing specs & a less than good UI. Good light .. yes, but .. & lately there have been to many of those. I'm not getting rid of any of my Fenix lights but I haven't seen a new one I'd buy either, including this one

Fenix PD36R Pro here. I love my light. Better and more affordable than streamlight.

The PD36R Pro is a big light though, a little too chunky and heavy for my taste. You can get the same performance from something a bit more compact without sacrificing quality. Also has a very cool white tint which may or may not be to your liking.

Just bought a pd36r pro...love the slim body and lumens output ( nice throw/flood tactical beam) i hope fenix is as reliable as people say

PD36R is a good and tough flashlight and easy to use. My only complaint is that the output has a slight green tinge to it that is kinda annoying. I would also wrap the flashlight in hockey tape or some kind of grip tape because the texture and finish they put on the current version is slippery.

Fenix pd36r pro, with a good 21700. I have one and love it! Good mix of flood and throw, long lasting battery on medium output.

Don't even touch my brand new pd36r pro hardly.

I like the light a lot. The issues I’m having is if I don’t use it for a day “about 24 hours” it defaults to eco mode the dimmest setting when I turn it back on, if I use it within a couple hours it will stay on the mode I choose. It will also default to eco mode after it’s been plugged in to charge.

I’ve dropped and beat up my pd36r pro more than I’d like to admit and it works perfectly! It’s a great light

Ya I’m loving my pd36r pro. Don’t care much about cri and it’s got a great mix of flood and throw.

I just got the fenix pd36r pro and it’s the best flashlight I’ve ever seen / had / wanted

I love my Fenix pd36r pro, makes 4 mile train shoves through a forest a nice experience.

The two I reach for the most that aren’t as easily pocketable are my Fenix PD36R Pro and my Acebeam L35 2.0. The Fenix has an SFT70 and is a great all-rounder both indoors and out

Fenix PD36R Pro. Very solid, rugged, great beam of light, battery lasts a long time for shows, rechargeable sing 18650. I’ve had mine for 5+ years and have yet to be let down by it.

I've been using the Fenix PD36R Pro flashlight for several months, and it’s quickly become an essential part of my gear. Right off the bat, the flashlight impressed me with its power
