LG 27GR95QE-B 27-inch OLED

Based on 138 comments across 3 communities
TL;DR
Fast, smooth 240Hz OLED with excellent contrast and gaming feel, but SDR brightness is low with aggressive auto-dimming, WOLED text fringing hurts desktop clarity, and VRR flicker bothers many.

51% of 138 verified owners recommend the LG 27GR95QE-B 27-inch OLED.

I owned the 27GR95QE for a year and the PG27UCDM blows that monitor away in every single metric it’s truly night and day in my experience

It'll be super dim out of the box. Still won't be the brightest around but it's somethin

I freaking love it!

Only one gripe so far with this monitor - non inclusion of burn-in in the warranty!

The hdr is amazing. The 240hz is so smooth.

Yea you "get used to it" but it still reveals itself against your will randomly. The clarity is noticeably lower and in gaming when you track things moving across the screen you see the bumpy matte that it's moving under, at that point you aren't immersed in the game anymore. Fuck matte.

Seeing very little difference between performance and fidelity. Maybe slight softer edges but I barely notice it when I'm running around and it's not noticeable during dialog scenes

I found any amount of desktop use gave me serious buyers remorse with the LG. Due to other QC issues with that specific monitor after trying 2 I sent it back for a refund.

I have this monitor and I love the matte finish.

it's a great competitor.

27GR95QE is a better panel, the colors were so good - but I do much more work on my desktop than gaming and the M32U was just a better fit for my lifestyle!

I would personally not recommend the 27GR95QE. It has very low brightness especially in HDR and its coating makes the whole experience way more grey and washed out.

I have used both the 1st gen woled lg panel (27gr95qe) and qd oled ASUS pg32ucdm and honestly, the asus looks better but it’s not a crazy difference

I actually just told them that my 27GR95QE-B had burn in and used my Geek Squad Protection. Then swapped it for the LG 39GS95QE. Very very happy with it. The brightness on the 27GR95QE-B was awful.

really recommend this monitor for esport gamers

I’ve used the LG UltraGear 27GR95QE OLED monitor for a about 3 months and changed back to IPS and honestly the OLED is more color vibrant and stuff, but ive been using IPS my whole life so it didnt really matter.

It looks insane in person.

I had an LG 27GR95QE-B, and even with the firmware update, it was unimpressive to put it lightly. Plus, 1440p on a 27" display isn't that great for pixel density.

I am loving this oled screen

i have lg 27gr95qe-b and i've got used to it but it is still annoying in dark but not pitch black scenes

Now, six hours of fiddling later, I'm about ready to return the damn thing. The banding on dark content and ABL dimming on light content are driving me up a wall.

I do have a window and I lower the brightness because even 100 nits is too bright. (semi-glossy 27GR95QE)

have been loving every minute with it.

I recently bought the LG 27GR95QE-B, which is a 1440p OLED monitor. When it came to image quality I was pretty disappointed but I was probably expecting too much.
