Gigabyte M27Q-X

Based on 97 comments across 3 communities
TL;DR
A standout-value 1440p 240Hz IPS with great color and a handy KVM, but a recurring number of panels develop flickering lines or failure around the one-year mark, plus dead pixels and weak overdrive below high frame rates.

57% of 97 verified owners recommend the Gigabyte M27Q-X.

BEWARE: I recently bought this and when I got it I noticed it had a dead pixel. So I called Gigabytes customer service and they said they only replace monitors if they have 6 or more dead pixels.

at those high refresh rates you wont see any lines. this is how i use this monitor.

to everyone asking and who is going to ask, yes, i like it, it's good

I've never used the backlight strobing tho because it makes the screen so dark so I wish I would've went with this instead. Cheaper and faster.

M27QX is my favorite 1440p 240Hz monitor for value, performance, and the sheer lack of gamer aesthetic. Just a grey monitor with minimal bezel that casually fucking rips

second (m27qx) had a weird white flicker. I might have had horrible luck or gigabyte QA is horrible

took a lot of tweaking to get my M27Q-X to get closer to the color and brightness and it's still a bit off.

I currently use the Gigabyte M27QX and the motion performance is not great….. on top of that the low motion blur option makes the screen crazy dark and caps at 120hz

Ended up with a M27qx and never touching Samsung again.

that tn old monitor still has better motion clarity than the newer fast ips from m27qx

M27qx but I returned it bc I compared it with a 185 hz panel and I barely saw a difference so it was hard to justify the extra 250 bucks for a 240hz panel

Just bought this monitor! Loving it so far.

I made the choice to buy the Gigabyte M27QX and I hate it... My eyes are sore after a less than 1hour of playing LoL on 1440p 240hz or 200hz ....the colors seem worse than my current AOC. This feels like a downgrade for me and I will return it

I honestly hate this monitor and wish I hadn't bought it. I don't understand the praise it gets.

Gigabyte M27QX is a fantastic monitor and is what I use.

when i was playing sekiro i found that my display had terrible ghosting, so i searched around why, came to this video and saw the overdrive settings and turning it off made the ghosting disapear

I had it for a little under 2 years. I'm guessing they couldn't repair it or it wasn't worth repairing, which is a shame because I genuinely liked that monitor.

I got the Gigabyte M27QX and I am extremely happy with it. Excellent performance. Great price. Amazing KVM feature that I use often

My gigabye m27qx already has a dead pixel after half a year.

The best thing about this monitor (and the others in this series) is the KVM feature. The worst is the USB PD is only 18w but it's still enough to power some laptops. Gigabyte QC is a bit questionable though.

i ended up tasking a chance on a used m27qx off of ebay for 183 usd and it works flawlessly.
