Mine does it too. But if I put a shim under the red safety so it pushes it in farther it fires.

The gun performed fantastically throughout the entire project with no jams of misfires.

I love the ergonomics of em, but the dang things barely make it past a year when you use em everyday

Good review! Thanks for the various settings. $279 is kind of pricey though.

The only thing I don't like is the wiggle room with the battery. It doesn't seat tightly.

My only complain to these nailers is that they are not self serviceable.

I like my Milwaukee 18 gauge but it’s substantially heavier than air nailers.

In the end, the price is worth it. Very hard bite to buy it initially, but youll have no regrets later on.

Had the same problem with mine - I tried different batteries, different nail sizes, tap to shoot mode, etc and couldn't get it to work. I sent it in for warranty repair and it came back as "works as intended/ no trouble found", and magically worked with the same nails and battery that didn't work before.

That 18 Gauge Gen II nailer is the bees knees. Have it and LOVE. Pretty lightweight. Goes all day on a CP2.0, plenty of depth adjustment, shoots like butter into hard and soft woods.
