DeWalt DCS570B

Based on 14 comments across 3 communities
TL;DR
Owners are largely happy with the DCS570, praising its corded-like power, full 7-1/4" depth of cut, and handy electric brake, with several calling it the best saw they've owned. A few wish they'd gone with the 60V FlexVolt for the heaviest work, and the right-side blade and handle position can make straight cuts tricky for some. The occasional squareness or baseplate complaint appears to stem from a damaged unit rather than a widespread flaw.

79% of 14 verified owners recommend the DeWalt DCS570B.

I bought a DeWalt XR DCS570B and absolutely love it. Best saw I've ever owned.

My Ridgid and Ryobi don’t either. IMO it had to have been dropped at some point. Manufacturing/packaging, shipping, etc. Even the lowest Harbor Freight ones don’t do this, as awful as they can be. I don’t see any way that’s normal, especially for a DeWalt saw.

I'm a lefty, I've used the DCS570B (dewalt) for about two years now and it's great. The blade is on the right

Frankly, I wouldn't buy any of the 20v circular saws if the 60v were available to me.

I just got DCS570B, a 7-1/4” blade circular saw with electric brake for $139 on homdepot.com. I looked at this one but I was very concerned it would be underpowered and I don’t think it has an integrated brake which is a really valuable safety feature. I’ve been doing some deck repair and the DCS570B has been more than up to the challenge. It’s handled 2x6,

So far I am pleasantly surprised by the power the battery operated saw has. Only had it bind on me once and it was due to a low charge on the battery. I think this is a great first saw

I got the 570. Does everything o need it to. Just used it to frame a basement. Works great! Flexvolt will be more powerful, and a corded one is always a beast. That said, this is a great saw

The one you picked is probably the best option on the market if you're staying with DeWalt 20v or Milwaukee.

The DeWalt DCS570 has the power to be a replacement for your corded sidewinder model.

I'm a full time carpenter and use the 570 basically every week day. I use it enough every day to go through at least one/two 5ah battery. It'll do whatever you need. The rip guide is a nice little accessory for it too. I have co- workers that have the 61/2 inch versions and anytime ive grabbed theirs to make a cut i notice a major power difference (less powe

I have the first one you listed and it goes through 3/4” plywood like buttery with the 24T blade that came with it. It also has plenty of power because I forgot to adjust my depth on the first cut and ripped a 2” deep cut across the top of a steel sawhorse and didn’t realize until I lifted up the plywood. I always use a 4ah or bigger battery and it lasts qui
