What Daiwa Tatula CT Baitcast Reel owners say

I have a Tatula SV and it is a very nice reel and very versatile, but I think the "ease of use" (easy brake adjustments/no backlashes) comes at the cost of some distance compared to my Curados (at least for me).

I haven’t used the Shimano but the Tatulas are great reels. I have 3 Type Rs and will be getting an SV TWS for my next rod. They just fit my hand well and I’ve been really pleased with them so far.

Me personally I prefer the original Tatula or the Tatula elite. I hate the SV series as it seems to rob me of a lot of distance on my cast and or require more effort to get the same distance.

I like it way way better than my Shimano SLX DC too! So buttery smooth I spread it on my toast. No bird nest even in high winds.
