What Shimano Curado Baitcast Reel owners say

I've got some Curdo's and 1 SLX version, used a scorpion DC a decent amount as well. I think they are awesome. I use them for spinnerbaits, crankabaits, spybaits etc. Stuff that you huck and wind.

I have 3 Curado K's and just ordered a fourth because my old Citica died. I prefer their centrifugal brakes to mag brakes and I've never had a problem with any Curado.

What Shimano SLX owners say

Shimano SLX has treated me VERY nicely as a first baitcasting reel

I have a 6’6” cabelas tourney paired with a shimano slx and 30 lb PowerPro braid to a steel wire. If youre worried about your rod snapping, it wont. And unless you hook up a state record, youre not going to be spooled.

I purchased an SLX 150, and the casting distance was subpar. The overall control and stability of the brakes and spool tensioner felt inconsistent and unreliable.
