Sicce Voyager

TL;DR
Owners keep coming back to the Sicce Voyager for its strong flow, tiny footprint, and low price, and most say it runs quiet to nearly silent once it breaks in. The big catch is durability: a real cluster of owners report units dying or refusing to restart around the 6-8 month mark, sometimes tied to the wave-surfer add-on failing, with occasional clicking or cracking noises. It's also not adjustable, so it can run too powerful for smaller tanks.

why should I grab an MP10 for example when a sicce Voyager does the same job for so much cheaper?

They’re a Sicce Voyager 10, ridiculous power, I can’t have the two on at the same time because it becomes a tsunami… they push 15,000L/H (4000 GPH)

I just found out my 530 gal per hour sicce voyager Nano powerhead stopped working. Less flow and a lot of light (which I fixed and plus doing a 3 day blackout) caused the problem.

I also picked up a "SICCE Voyager Nano 1000 Stream Pump" - it's a \*little\* strong for a 20, but on a 30 might be perfect for flow, if you go for no filter at all.

I was using a Sicce Voyager Nano 1000 for a while which does a great job. Downside though is surface agitation leads to dispersal of the CO2 in the tank.

My sicce voyagers quit because the wave surfer failed. Definately thinking of looking into tunze or the vortechs now.

Replaced 3 sicce voyager nano, much less noticeable in the tank too.

once in awhile you here it click when it comes on. Plus I have a cracking sound I hear echo in the room from them.

Most circulation is provided by two Sicce Voyager Nano 2000 fans. Including the 207, turnover is about 75x. They are pointed up to roil the surface and provide lots of aeration. Water (and waste) drain through the grate bottom and are pushed back along the bare bottom to the Fluval 207 intake. This has been working exceedingly well.

A DC controllable pump like a Jebao SOW is a lot better than a fixed one like that sicce you have in there though

Plenty of flow with the sicce return pump and the sicce voyager 1000 the sps all seem happy. Everything is growing.

New lights, salt, doser, and Sicce Voyager pumps have been installed and running for 2 weeks. I have noticed a significant response from the corals in the last 2 weeks.

I use two Sicce Voyager Nano 1000s and two 2000s in a 40 breeder. I like these pumps a lot, they’re quiet and reliable and compact.

I’ve been enjoying sicce voyager nano or hydor koralia as far as powerheads go recently. Most inexpensive equipment I can think of

they recommended me a [Sicce Voyager 3](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSl4633DnKeCI3Hhd71K6FpMSeErJWs5JRSVg&usqp=CAU) which I don’t know if it’s well rated or not but it seemed to be doing the job very well.

some sicce voyagers with a wave surfer addon (very good pumps, but maybe too much flow, and also very big powerheads)

This works well for my 20g long, though I cant speak toward how well it world work in a regularly shaped 20g tank.

Sicce voyager is a good wave maker for smallish tanks and very well priced .
