“I got a Fuji xt5 and it was 1. Noticably heavy and the grip inadequate to make handling nice. 2. The autofocus was comically bad. I returned it and got an OM-1”— Tak_Galaman on Reddit
“My xt5 died after being exposed to a rain shower while on a 2 hr hike. Water had seeped in and destroyed the evf, the motherboard and the shutter.”— carlo_big on Reddit
“I had an XT5 and just didn’t enjoy it. Before that I had an xpro 3 which I loved. Now I have a Nikon ZF and love it although it is a bit heavier.”— PhotographRough1434 on Reddit
“I’m having this problem with my XT-5.. photos seem clear when I shoot them but as soon as I get them on my laptop.. it’s not “clear””— ekjunoon on Reddit
“I have the same issue, and unfortunately it is a well-known issue :(”— olegolegolegolegoleg on Reddit
“I had one xt5 with 16-80 and after a rain, total damaged”— No_Tumbleweed1195 on Reddit
“As an x-t5 owner, I've been saying this for a while. There's zero chance this is remotely usefully weather sealed. Look behind the screen too - exposed ribbon cable, and the screen doesn't fit flush and tight against the body. Super easy for water to enter the body from behind the screen. This camera is NOT "weather resistant". Maybe OK for dust, but not water. Hell no.”— 753UDKM on Reddit
“I went from an XT-5 to a z5ii. I’m so much happier. The focus system is far superior and I love Nikon colors. I’ve even used it a bunch on editorial assignments. My Xt-5 couldn’t handle my shoots and would constantly freeze up. Drove me insane. The Nikon may not be as aesthetically inspiring but it just works like a charm. The X-t5 struggles in low light. I can go on and on.”— Charming-Employee-89 on Reddit
“I tried the xt-5 and for some reason I didn't take to it. I found the sensor to be much less forgiving for hand holding than my x-h1 with IBIS. I didn't need 40 MP and held off getting the x-t4 because I thought I would like the floppy out screen. I bought one on a whim a few weeks back and love it. The feel and features of it are better than my X-t3 and I'm not that put out with the screen as I thought. I don't have to put up with silly file sizes too. I'm a happy boy.”— Accountant-Recent on Reddit

“It's just an incredible lens, and because the X-T5 has IBIS, you can shoot at night with it too if you have steady hands.”— Erediv on Reddit
“I had that and left it in front of a fan for a day and it was bone dry. If the water can get in, it can get out”— AlexMcD0 on Reddit
“The xt50 is great but for a similar pricing, you get way more from the xt5 (weather sealing which is nice) and it’s a professional grade camera. So more friendly if you decide to go from hobby to professional shoots. For lens. I say get the 23mm f2.8. It’s only ~$400.”— Eggrolling on Reddit
“I chose the XS20 because of the deeper grip for larger lenses, the articulating screen, better AF, and it's cheaper. I also wanted the option to do video in the future. I don't need the 40 MP b/c I zoom with my feet or my lenses will get me close enough where I can crop reasonably.”— strikeforceagent on Reddit
“If you have a computer with good graphics and plan on doing editing, especially for printing large, the 40mp would be appreciated more, but not required. If you go to a Fuji dealer, you can hold both cameras and see which one feels the most comfortable, especially with lenses you may consider using.”— schredone on Reddit
“That said the only real issue I know of with an X-T5 is on some they had a bad anti reflective coating on the EVF and when people tried to clean them it partly removed the coating leaving streaks and such. Fuji would fix it under warranty by replacing the entire EVF, but that assumes it bought in region......”— 4Driften on Reddit
“Battery life on the X-S20 is slightly better than on the X-T5, but no big difference. The screen of the X-S20 will be better for vlogging if you want to turn the camera around often. You will not be able to see yourself with the X-T5 then. X-T5 can also do videos but it's designed to be a 'photography first' camera.”— qwertyasdf9000 on Reddit
“The XT3, XT4, and XT5 all have great high ISO performance. I think people put too much stress on shooting at lower ISOs anyway.”— jasonzo on Reddit
