In owners' own words

I also bought the 7Hz because of the Hype and I don't like it.

I bought into the hype, and so far I don’t love them.
@sethagastya on YouTube
these new timeless II are a much more narrower soundstage and way less detail.
@666thsense on YouTube
Timeless has treble that hurts my ears.

allthough I didnt like the IEMs, but i can see how so many people do.
@Sporting1210 on YouTube
I auditioned these at CanJam HK last month but I disliked them, especially at high volume listening.
@ReverendDr.Thomas on YouTube
the sound is too metallic/unatural compared to DD+BA hybrids under its price range.
@ariathyf144 on YouTube
It was not worth the price to upgrade to the timeless
@MannyScoot on YouTube
Timeless doesn’t compare all all that well to similarly priced IEMs.
@GadZookz on YouTube
they've been dethroned by wu for me.
@HobbyTalk on YouTube
I already try Timeless and sell it immediately after a few days, it's not match my preference
@RaizeN95 on YouTube
Hmm apart from the customising options it's a pretty hard sell

Setup quirks & things to watch for

Not complaints — practical notes from owners that didn't affect the score.

Just a general type, most of them sold by unknown brand probably quality is running at same level. The ear tips either made by silicone or rubber, I found rubber have better elasticity thus better flexibility.

7hz Timeless is famous for its "fit". Or should I say infamous. Sorry, I can't help, but know that you're not alone and some people might be able to

If we're talking about that 1st generation (Timeless/S12 style) signature planar sound, I would say: Bass is typically elevated but not "punchy" like DD bass. It tends to be quite resolving so there's good separation between bass instruments.

Thanks for such a detailed response. Looks like I might be sittings on these a while longer. I must ask what do you feel is the “Planer Sound”. Also if I went multi driver, do you get weird crossover issues, and again I must say I’m a bass head

I don't think you'll get a direct "upgrade" when the timeless is 199 usd already.

I know you're not in America, but the timeless 1 is 20 dollars off on Amazon here, and from what I've heard, the 2 isn't really an upgrade, but a side grade with tuning nozzles (when it comes to details and stuff) Though I don't have experience with either, that's just what I heard

Will try to look into these, thank you for the suggestion.
