Hypervolt 2 Pro

Scored on 14 verified owner verdicts, from 415 comments read across 2 communities
TL;DR
Owners overwhelmingly recommend the Hypervolt 2 Pro, praising its powerful percussion that stays surprisingly quiet and reportedly outperforms rivals like Theragun, Therabody, and Sharper Image, with many saying they don't regret buying it and would choose it again. Several users also credit it with cutting down recovery time after workouts. A smaller but consistent group flags reliability issues instead — the unit stalling under pressure at top speed, a battery dying and getting stuck on red, or Hyperice discontinuing replacement batteries so a full repurchase is required. Even those with complaints tend to still like the device overall, with the criticism centered on long-term durability rather than day-to-day performance.

79% of 14 verified owners recommend the Hypervolt 2 Pro, based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

Who it's for
A great fit if
  • Users wanting strong percussive power that still runs quiet during use
  • Athletes seeking a genuine step-up in recovery time and DOMS relief
  • Owners upgrading from an older Hypervolt or competing brand for more punch
  • Buyers who prioritize deep tissue impact over lightweight portability
Look elsewhere if
  • Anyone needing a highly ergonomic handle shape, since orientation feels off vs Therabody
  • Users pushing the top speed setting hard, since motor can stall under pressure
  • Owners wanting long-term battery replaceability, since replacement batteries were discontinued

I've tried the sharper image, and an expensive, highly rated off brand, and a theragun, but none of them hits the way the Hyperice Hypervolt 2 Pro does it

it was a nice device but the orientation and shape of the handle wasn't nearly as ergonomic as the Therabody

my Hypervolt 2 Pro also stopped working. In my case, it’s the battery—it’s stuck on red. I still have a Hypervolt 2 and a Go 2, which are fine 🤷‍♂️

Even at the highest speed it stalls quite easily.

The one with the most punch that I've found is the hyperice hypervolt 2 pro. They stopped carrying replacement batteries though, so you have to buy a new one when the battery completely dies

I would recommend a Hypervolt 2 pro over a therabody percussion device these days. Their support has been great recently.

I have the Hyperice Hypervolt and love it! Got it for a great price for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Didn't think I would love it as much as I do. Totally worth it.

Even at its top speed, I was surprised that the device only creates a low vibrational hum, whereas comparable percussive massagers were noticeably louder.

The pill-shaped handle is actually one of my favorite changes to the Hypervolt 2 Pro.

Hi Vibrational tools are a game changer. I suggest the brand Hyperice. They are the best. They have vibrational foam rollers which are great and balls. I also use the hypervolt 2 pro everyday.
