“It suddenly started making a really loud humming noise which I can only stop when I close the air intake valve almost completly. “I've had this skimmer for nearly a year now (bought used). Worked fine for about 4 months, then the problems began - micro bubbles and the main issue being the skimmer cup getting flooded. “I loved my Nyos, it did an amazing job, but this issue is a deal breaker for me, especially with the money that I spent. I've read where others bought a replacement pump (I believe it's stronger) that resolved the problem.
