TL;DR
Most owners who weigh in are satisfied overall, praising the TOA-70 as a versatile everyday countertop oven and air fryer that they'd buy again. A smaller group reports real problems, though: a couple of owners describe it running hot and burning food no matter the set temperature (one confirmed with an oven thermometer, another chalking it up to getting a 'lemon' unit), and a couple more say the interior is genuinely hard to clean, with baked-on grease and crumbs that resist normal wiping. One owner also singled out toasting specifically as a weak point, saying it 'sucks' at making toast despite liking everything else about the unit. Overall sentiment leans positive, but the burning/temperature-accuracy and cleaning complaints show up often enough to be worth watching for.

56% of 9 verified owners recommend the Cuisinart TOA-70, based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

I own one and I love it for everything except for toasting. It absolutely sucks at making toast

I had this toaster oven and it burned everything! I put an oven thermometer in it, and it was never at the temperature I set it to.

Tbh it's hard to clean on the inside. I've resorted to using a mini vacuum to suck up the crumbs lol. I still love it though!

I just got a Cuisinart TOA70 and I was worried it wasn't working, it is so quiet compared to the first air fryer I owned.

    Redditⓘ good to know

I almost never see grime or crust or anything. [We have one of these though which is different from the pull-out basket air fryers i sometimes see.](https://www.cuisinart.com/dw/image/v2/ABAF_PRD/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-master-us/default/dwda11ea37/images/large/4_TOA70_Lifestyle03.jpg)

Can anyone confirm the length of this model? I am looking for side to side length, not front to back. Different sites are showing different dimensions. Thanks in advance!

I emailed them. This was their reply. “Thank you for reaching out to us! We would like to confirm that the TOA-70BKS features a nonstick interior, however the TOA-70BKSNAS has a fully stainless steel interior.”

    Redditⓘ good to know

I wonder if the PFAs is only due to the non-stick grill pan that is included. It doesn't look like the interior has non-stick.

    Redditⓘ good to know

the front is 15 inches across! There is another model very similar to this one, maybe that's why?

    Redditⓘ good to know

I have this model and well it states that as a warning Placing the oven rack in the upper position with the rack "upward" while toasting may result in a fire." However instructions for toasting in multiple areas state to put the oven rack in position 2. What does the upward mean?
