What owners like
  • Whisper-quiet on the lowest/sleep settings, making it a go-to for overnight bedroom use and light sleepers · 9 · 20%
  • Moves a surprising amount of air for its size on higher speeds, with several owners saying it beats similar Vornado towers · 8 · 18%
  • Holds up for years of daily use with little to no maintenance beyond an occasional cleaning · 6 · 14%
What owners flag
  • Develops rattling, vibration, or a gear-grinding noise during oscillation, sometimes right out of the box or after a year or two · 7 · 16%
  • Airflow is weak on lower/medium settings and can't be felt beyond a foot or two in larger rooms · 7 · 16%
  • Not actually whisper-quiet as advertised, especially on higher speeds or once the unit ages · 6 · 14%
Who it's for
A great fit if
  • Bedroom sleepers who want white noise and a whisper-quiet low setting overnight
  • Small-to-medium room owners needing personal cooling near a chair or desk
  • Buyers who value quiet operation and dimmable display lights over max airflow
  • Anyone wanting a budget tower fan with multiple speeds and a timer for nightly use
Look elsewhere if
  • Anyone needing strong airflow to cool a large room, not just a personal breeze
  • Light or noise-sensitive sleepers, since some units rattle, squeak, or grind on oscillation
  • Buyers expecting long-term silence, as quietness can degrade with age on some units

The fans are ok. They don't move a lot of air and aren't the quietest but they have worked well and are still going strong.

We got one in office my personal fan but damn sometimes I need a sweater

This fan is terrible

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I have one of those but it started making a louder noise than it it would actually make

Slickdeals▲ recommend

like that there is the ability to dim the lights on the display or turn them off completely. the 8 speeds give a lot of options and the timer is good. I recommend.

They work well, but the biggest problem is that any infrared remote will turn them on/off, change speeds and rotation, etc.

I have it for 5 years or so .. cleaned twice from inside out ..it is little complex but only back grill properly comes out

Slickdeals▲ recommend

I just bought one and the air moves great from one end of bedroom to next. It's not a powerhouse but I can deff feel a lot of airflow coming though

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I wouldn't recommend this if you have trouble sleeping with noise or light.

Slickdeals▼ don’t recommend

now the fan makes this repetitive noise on the first three fan speeds. It's not as loud as the last one but it's nowhere near whisper quiet like it was before.

Slickdeals— neutral

Quiet at low settings, and loud at higher settings. Good for small medium room, but can't feel much in a bigger room.

Slickdeals▲ recommend

This fan is very quiet and perfect for the bedroom, we leave it running overnight often. It moves plenty of air at the high setting.

Slickdeals▼ don’t recommend

they advertise it as quiet-- it's not quiet at all. It's got an annoying sound even on the lowest 'sleep' setting. Don't waste your money on this.

Slickdeals▲ recommend

I have one for the bedroom. Really like it because it's lowest speed is super quiet, which is great for sleep. Getting another one.

Home Caprice (affiliate)— neutral

There are some who think this fan is louder than it should be and many who are happy with its volume.

Slickdeals— neutral

both of the ones that I have developed a "squeak" in the rotation within a year or two.

Slickdeals▼ don’t recommend

I've had two. Both have an annoying rattle from the blades. I can only run it at two speeds where it is relatively quiet.

Slickdeals▲ recommend

These fans are super quiet and they move a ton of air, but it's not at the concentrated volumes as a standard pedestal or box fan.

Slickdeals▼ don’t recommend

Dont waste money on it. It doesn't move much air unless a foot from you then you can tell it is on barely.

Slickdeals▲ recommend

If I'm sitting in the living room and I want cool off and hear the TV I use the Honeywell in this deal. I would buy this again.

Slickdeals— neutral

Fan is pretty anemic, it doesnt move much air but at this price point it's expected.

Slickdeals— neutral

I have the same one for about 2 years now. It's fairly quite (depends on the mode).

Slickdeals▼ don’t recommend

Rattled straight out of the box on low settings. Would most likely get worse over time. Returning.

Slickdeals▲ recommend

Works like a champ, quiet, moves a lot of air for its size, and has ran for well over a year now with zero issues.
