I got the Tiger one because it was cheaper but the dealbreaker for me was that the timer function doesn't work for regular rice, only for quick rice. Returned it and got a Zojirushi instead

I bought her a Zojirushi Neuro Fuzzy as a Christmas gift. it's a higher end >$100 model but it's been worth every penny. It super easy to use: put in rice and water, push a button and then walk away until it plays twinkle twinkle little star (no kidding). Then once cooked it will automatically keep rice the perfect warm temperature for hours without burni
