Tiger wall is too tight. I’m 6ft 185, it’s a one person tent imo. Sent it back

I think it's just a bit too small for my needs

Great deal! I hate asking, but I looked online and couldn't find it easily. I assume the Solution Dye Tiger Wall UL 2p has the same floor area specifications as the regular Tiger Wall UL 2P. Correct?

Right now I have a zpacks plexamid and a tiger wall ul2, but considering selling the tiger wall for an xmid. I don't have a double rainbow, but I also don't have a need for a freestanding tent right now.

Tiger Wall is only semi-freestanding, in case that matters to you. I would 100% go with a 3p tent for two people over a 2p. Especially with rectangle pads.

The tiger wall ul 2. I plan to use it for the AT next year. I used a fly creek for both my pct hikes and it was great. I used a duplex for almost all of the cdt and I definitely didn’t love it as much as I hoped I would.

Use polycro painters plastic instead. You can cut it to size really easily. It will do the same thing and cost you about $3.

The warranties are different. I have had success working with Big Agnes lifetime for the product. Durston seems to have 2 years and Gossemear is 1 year. You probably won't need it but it is good to know the warranty is there if you needed it.

Thanks, the Strato looks great but might be a bit over budget unless I can find it on sale, and thanks for the info on the ventilation on the Big Agnes, although it's looking from everyone's kind advice that the x-mid might be the best shout.

Here is a way to increase ventilation with the BA Copper Spur or Tiger wall. https://www.reddit.com/r/CampingGear/comments/1f37tc3/high_low_pitch_for_big_agnes_copper_spur_and/
