Most common complaints

In owners' own words

Die Kamera ist nicht so gut und produziert viel Rauschen bei schlechtem Licht. Die behalte ich erstmal, würde die aber nicht weiterempfehlen.

I would suggest to go with Neo instead of Mini4k based on my experience the camera is better than mini4k in neo.

as someone who bought the Mini 4k. DONT, and not because it isn't a great drone.

But it lacks visual tracking. Thats the only reason i stepped away from mini4k

But yeah I still regret this purchase nonetheless

from that moment the image froze on the app and i was flying blind and was unaware of what the drone did, i also lost sight.
me he dado cuenta que la cámara suele pegar unos saltos como si el gimball no pudiera compensar cierto movimientos

The camera is bad so the drone is more affordable. I Would not recommend using it for serious photography.

one of the motors went bad , that’s what they told me on log so they replaced it

Setup quirks & things to watch for

Not complaints — practical notes from owners that didn't affect the score.

Its the dji mini 4k so no obstacle avoidance. It's there because I was trying to get a cool shot of it panning away from my house to show the sunset, but I miss-judged how low the drone was so it went straight into the tree.

It’s a bit difficult for me to learn how to fly and stuff. Especially as I’m not much of a photographer and I’m often flying/taking off/landing from a moving boat and around water!

I'm into my second month of drone flying with my DJI mini 4k. I bought the basic because I didn't want to drop money onto something that I could later regret

Da poco mi sono comprato un drone con gli sconti del prime day (DJI Mini 4K), ma devo ovviamente imparare a pilotarlo correttamente, è carino come passatempo
LvKA95 on Reddit
unless I go low or fly around a cliff I don’t have signal issues. I’m pretty sure the mini4k has similar range as the more expensive DJI drones
Substantial_You_1155 on Reddit
For my mini 4k, crash with drone sent to DJI is about 40 EUR and Flyaway with no drone sent to DJI is 120.

I’m using the Mini4K. Unless I’ve missed a setting somewhere, it doesn’t have that. It’s unfortunate.

I have the mini4k and I think it can track but only using the default QuickShots.
