DJI Mini 4K

Scored on 97 verified owner verdicts, from 1,524 comments read across 6 communities
TL;DR
Owners overwhelmingly call the Mini 4K the best bang-for-the-buck way into drone flying, praising its sharp 4K footage, easy beginner-friendly handling, and surprising stability in wind for such a light, packable drone. The trade-offs are real but expected at this price: no obstacle avoidance (which catches a few new pilots out), an older camera that struggles in low light, no subject tracking, and battery life that runs closer to 20-28 minutes than the advertised 31. For a first drone or a simple, affordable flyer, most owners say they don't regret the buy.

75% of 97 verified owners recommend the DJI Mini 4K, based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

The lens correction can be a bit iffy, 95% of the time the image will look ok, but I did notice some vignetting on just a handful of images.

Die Kamera ist nicht so gut und produziert viel Rauschen bei schlechtem Licht. Die behalte ich erstmal, würde die aber nicht weiterempfehlen.

Es un muy buen dron y se las aguanta bastante con el viento de donde yo vivo

Half the time the silly drone does not even follow me. it loses tracking and stops mid flight., I have to back track and go rescue it. Needs more updates and love from the devs at the moment.

I would suggest to go with Neo instead of Mini4k based on my experience the camera is better than mini4k in neo.

I’m excited to receive it but am kinda wishing I had at least got one wirh obstacle avoidance. None the less, I think the mini 4k is a great drone for the price point

as someone who bought the Mini 4k. DONT, and not because it isn't a great drone.

But it lacks visual tracking. Thats the only reason i stepped away from mini4k

I had a fly away incident and DJI care worked very well and I got a replacement. That said I bought a DJI Mini 4 Pro and I like it a LOT more.

Cons of the DJi mini 4k - Old body. No bells and whistles like collision avoidance. Does not come with the built-in video remote. No vertical filming mode. Pros - It's a 4k DJI drone for $239. It's small and super portable.

I got the Mini 4k as my first "getting back into it" and it does a great job for the price and gives really good photos and videos.

from that moment the image froze on the app and i was flying blind and was unaware of what the drone did, i also lost sight.

Mine has same issue (mini4k)but I will point out that it seems to work normally in metric.

The 4k (which I have and absolutely love, as well as have no plans of upgrading anytime soon) is essentially the same thing as the DJI Mini 2/2 SE physically, but the only real difference is the 4k has a slightly upgraded chip than the Mini 2 SE, allowing it to shoot in 4k.

me he dado cuenta que la cámara suele pegar unos saltos como si el gimball no pudiera compensar cierto movimientos

I tried it out yesterday at night in sub zero temperature and it worked without any problem.

For all other types of flying, you will love the Mini4k

The camera is bad so the drone is more affordable. I Would not recommend using it for serious photography.

It's pretty basic, but it flies great and will do what you want

Its the dji mini 4k so no obstacle avoidance. It's there because I was trying to get a cool shot of it panning away from my house to show the sunset, but I miss-judged how low the drone was so it went straight into the tree.
