TL;DR
Most owners who bought the Soundcore Aerofit 2 love how light and comfortable it is — several say they forget they have it on or have accidentally fallen asleep wearing it — and praise its sound quality against rivals like Shokz and other open-ear or bone-conduction buds, plus reliable multi-device connections for long work calls and solid battery life. A meaningful minority, though, report real reliability problems: earbuds that stop charging or pairing, sides that die, and repeated replacements within months rather than years, which for some owners soured the whole experience. Smaller but recurring complaints are touch controls that misfire when the angle shifts and bass that's noticeably light, though the latter is a known tradeoff of the open-ear design rather than a defect. Overall the consensus favors the Aerofit 2 for comfort and everyday sound, with durability as the main asterisk.

45% of 51 verified owners recommend the soundcore AeroFit 2, based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

What owners like
  • Exceptionally comfortable, lightweight open-ear fit — many owners say they forget they're wearing them and have even fallen asleep in them by accident · 10 · 20%
  • Sound quality that beats other open-ear/bone-conduction options like Shokz, clip-style buds, and bone conduction headphones, with clear vocals · 8 · 16%
  • Stable multi-device connection and reliable performance for hours-long work calls (Teams, etc.) without needing to repeat yourself · 6 · 12%
  • Long battery life that gets owners through a full day or more, plus a wireless-charging case · 6 · 12%
What owners flag
  • Charging and connection failures over time — earbuds dying, one side not charging/pairing, or units needing to be reset repeatedly — leading some owners through two or three replacement units within a year · 12 · 24%
  • Touch controls feel finicky or janky, and the angled fit makes it easy to trigger the touch sensor by accident · 4 · 8%
  • Bass response is thin compared to sealed in-ear buds, an inherent tradeoff of the open-ear design · 4 · 8%
Who it's for
A great fit if
  • All-day office/call wearers who want comfortable open-ear buds for hours of Teams calls
  • Side sleepers or in-bed listeners who want to doze off without in-ear discomfort
  • Commuters and cyclists who want situational awareness plus decent sound on a bike or e-scooter
  • Casual listeners of podcasts, audiobooks, and voice media who don't need deep bass
Look elsewhere if
  • Bass-heavy music fans, since owners consistently report thin, weak low-end
  • Heavy sweat/gym users, as sweat exposure triggers muffled sound and connection dropouts
  • Buyers wanting long-term durability, given recurring reports of charging failures and units dying within months

it sounds good overall, longer battery life, AI translate (haven’t figure out how to use that yet) but Anker is just a little lack in design department

Reddit▲ recommend

These are very light/comfortable good sound for over ear style. easy to forget they are on. The case has wireless charging. win win!

I absolutely loved the design and comfort, but I’m disappointed with their durability and am now searching for a similar open-ear alternative.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I changed mine 3 times. All either both cannot be charged/detected or 1 side. The sound is good but I guess longevity is an issue.

she likes a lot as its very light & very comfortable with adjustable earhooks

My right Aerofit 2 died because of it (siguro faulty hardware din) I got it replaced and now I only use it for work meetings since maganda quality ng microphone niya.

The AF2 has a bit better sound quality and can translate with the SC app. They start to discomfort my ears after a while, which the v30i does not.

Reddit▲ recommend

Where I prefer the aerofit 2 standard is when commuting on a bike or e-scooter. They don’t have the same wind sound as the 2 pro.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I felt the Aerofit 2's were lacking bass regardless of the orientation I used and their bean shape felt weird on my ears

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

The controls are just very janky compared to my raycons. Even with the eq adjusted it wasn't that great.

Reddit▲ recommend

I’ve actually fallen asleep with these earbuds on multiple times (unintentionally), and they were totally fine.

Reddit— neutral

They pass for listening to music while on the move, if needed, but the primary use is phone calls and otherwise voice media, podcasts, books etc.

I am really enjoying my aerofit 2 but have noticed that after being placed in the charging case they can lose access to the single tap control

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

This exactly issue is happening once again with the replacement pair they sent me. So frustrating!

Reddit▲ recommend

I like them better for music than v20i or v30i. Very comfortable for my ears and I've had no issues with calls.

Reddit— neutral

For me the EQ mostly cleans things up and adds a bit of body, but if you’re chasing real low-end, sealed earbuds will still win every time.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

My left earbud is heavily distorted - especially when the music I play is a little bassy.

Reddit▲ recommend

I've fallen asleep with them on unintentionally. Comfortable. Sometimes I forget I still have them on. Haha

Reddit▲ recommend

I am still satisfied with the Aerofit 2, the touch controls are still finicky but not as bad as others.

Reddit— neutral

They are good, I got a pair for review a while back, and I like them, sound quality is good for open ears, but still not close to in-ears.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

A mí me fallan al correr con la transpiracion se mojan y dejan de andar. Una decepción 😞

Reddit— neutral

While the Soundcore delivers solid bass and good overall audio, I prefer the Nothing’s sharper, more detailed sound profile.

Reddit▲ recommend

they are my favorite open ear buds I've ever tried. They sound GREAT and the battery lasta FOREVER.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

Ang bilis mag degrade ng battery. Like one year pa lang di na sya umaabot ng 1 hour

Common problems & things to know

Practical notes owners raise — setup, quirks, and issues to watch for. They don't say whether the person likes the product, so they're not counted in the score, but they inform the pros, cons, and who it's for.

Redditⓘ good to know

Not really. I've tried it and it's fine if it's a slower conversation or not much of it, but it gets out of sync because of the lag. So really, it depends on the movie. I prefer subtitles anyway.

Redditⓘ good to know

Haven't worn them in enclosed spaces and I usually keep them pretty low volume. But given the form factor, I imagine it would have some leakage.

Redditⓘ good to know

I just had this happen to my right one. No change after cleaning the contacts with alcohol, pressing the button for 10 seconds, and repairing. I've been using them daily for just under a year. At least they're still under warranty I guess.

Redditⓘ good to know

I'm mainly interested in these blocking wind better while biking, something that the ANC of the Shockz can't really address. I already have the Aerofit 2s, and on windy days you basically can't hear anything. This goes for all of the open ears I've tried.

Redditⓘ good to know

I fixed it, what i did was , leave both earpiece charging , then after an hour its working well again

Redditⓘ good to know

Hmm, interesting wonder why mine don’t. Anyway I did try it with a foreign film and there answer is sort of. It has to be on a different device that they are connected to, they are a few seconds behind and it is always in the AIs voice. Do you wouldn’t want to but it does work.

Redditⓘ good to know

Naexperience ko din yung muffled sound. But not because of pawis. Nasa grab ako nun. I think because naka-on yung record audio ng grab plus I was listening to Spotify. I did not experience this sa ibang earbuds. And there’s no option din to change yung input and output device sa app.

But I notice that it connects to my aero as "Headset" which distorts the music. When I disconnect and reconnect again it pairs up as "headphone" which has no distortion. You can see the label headset or headphone in your BT settings in pc. I don't know why it does this but this fixes it.

Mine has the same issue. Gotta try this. How are yours holding up now?

Hi! Thanks for this comprehensive review. Wanted to ask if you tweaked the settings of your mic? I just bought mine a few days ago and tried using these earphones to call a friend via discord but they said the mic sounds bad. Not sure if I have to configure something here or if I got a defective unit

My one did the same today... how to solve this?
