“They literally sound like the free earbuds you get on a plane lol. Shrilly, harsh highs and tinny mids. Sounds like you're listening through a tin can.”
“I use the beats powerbeats pro 2 which came out recently. Hands down the best headphones you can get for fitness imo. The original ones lasted me 5 years and the new version is definitely an upgrade”
“The fit is very secure and quite comfortable. ANC was good, but not as good as the AirPods Pro 2 or other offerings like the JBL Tour Pro 3 or Bose QC Ultra.”
“The ANC for me sits squarely between the BFP and APP2. I did use it on the plane and found it to cut off almost all outside noise when music is playing.”
“I have the Powerbeats Pro 2 now and am keeping them as my exercise and everyday true wireless earbuds. They’re the only ones Apple makes that stay in my ears”
“I tried the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 headphones recently, and the Openfit 2 were significantly better in my opinion.”
“It only slips out a little, but not enough for you to have to push it back in a lot. It doesn't make much sound as well like rubbing etc.”
“I have the originals (also gifted a few years back.) and I am more than happy I didn't spend $250 for that utter trash. Got the notorious dead left earbud for no fucking reason”
“My Airpods pro starts to loosen after some time and i have to adjust them again and again. But PBP2 chills there and i think that’s a whole point of them.”
“Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 are my go-to for intense workouts. They're super comfortable, have a great fit, and the sound quality is fantastic.”
“I agree the sound quality is lacking big time for the price, but I'm a huge fan of the physical buttons on each side.”
“they cause ear pain for me after a while, same as the Fit Pro did. sound quality is worse compared to the APP 2, surprisingly the Powerbeats Pro 2 also have less powerful bass.”
“Sound is superior on Powerbeats pro 2 if you can get a good seal with the earbuds. Sound is very similar to beats fit pro”
“I'm very disappointed in them as well. The sealing does not work. If you wear glasses it will never sit in your ears and maintain a suction. these earbuds are a 3/10 imo”
“the music quality of the beats is superior to the soundcore”
“No matter how good a seal I get I notice that the anc is decent but definitely not top tier, sound is pretty good though. You can tell when you get a good seal because the bass is deep and rich, you can also utilize the ear tip fit test. The Powerbeats pro don’t go deep in you ears so it’s a bit more tedious finding the right tips.”
“I had to rotate the buds forward so there's less pressure on my sunglasses. Which sucks because it basically removes the seal and makes it "float" like an open earbud.”
“It is great fit for gym and running outdoor with noise cancellation close to AirPods Pro 2 with right fit ear tips and transparency mode for outdoor use. You get sizes xs to xl which is great. Sound is not very bass heavy as it used to be in beats and no sound leakage with right sized ear tip.”
“Same, these were the headphones I was waiting for. They're secure, I can never use the Airpods because of fear of losing one of them when I was running, or hiking.”
“I hate these earbuds. They are the most uncomfortable earbuds ever. I can't honestly name one good quality. The battery life is poor...extremely disappointed.”
“Graphed out they made some strange decisions and most people don’t like the treble tuning, even after the firmware update helped balance them.”
“I have both. Love the PBP2 - I don’t understand the negativity here about them. You can use them all day in the same way as the APP. Performance for both is similar and the PBP won’t fall out. If you exercise it’s a no-brainer IMO.”
“Try different ear tips for the PBP2. I got a good seal with the stock ones. Super comfortable and good sound and good ANC for me.”
“I just bought my pair two hours ago and currently dealing with the same bullshit, the right one disconnects once i open any other app”
