Garmin Venu 4

TL;DR
When it behaves, the Venu 4 is a watch owners genuinely love: a real step up over the Venu 3 with a sharp display, long battery life, and useful health and training features in a sleek, lightweight body. But a significant cluster of early units suffer from real firmware reliability problems, freezing or shutting off mid-activity, boot-looping overnight, and draining the battery fast, and for some it kept happening even after a warranty replacement. If you want the flagship looks and don't need maps or every advanced metric it can be great, but anyone who can't risk a flaky unit may want to wait for the firmware to settle.

45% of 94 verified owners recommend the Garmin Venu 4, based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

Se han subido a la parra con los precios estos de Garmin y sobre todo en esta serie Venu.

No está nada mal

I like it a lot, but I’m still trying to figure out some of the screen in the evenings. It feels like it dims overly aggressively and takes its time in brightening back up

I HATE the Garmin app. It’s my least favorite of all the watches I have, but the watch itself is probably my favorite of the brands

Lo tengo hace tres días y muy bien

Pésimo , es lo mismo que un reloj deportivo

I don't find the UI clunky because I'm not constantly trying to use the watch for things I could be doing on my phone

la verdad es que no decepciona

my venu4 is regularly restarting and boot looping. Often over night and I wake up with the blue triangle on the screen. I've already reset the watch, but it didn't help.

Venu 4 is soooo nice like this, yes it's still not the slimmest watch of all time but it somehow makes a real difference compared to the Fenix. It feels lighter on my wrist too. And looks great!

Reddit— neutral

it’s definitely a lot thicker and heavier than my Apple Watch which will just require some getting used to

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

The Sleep Tracking is interesting but I can wake up feeling like I got the best sleep of my life and my score is 34 with a “non restorative”. It’s just flawed science

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I got mine the first day while running and it randomly restarted. Then it was often restarting - especially during the night showing up as gaps in the body battery.

the Venu 4 is so sleek that it does look smaller/more insignificant than prior models

I went from OG Venu to Venu 4 and as you would expect it is a massive upgrade particularly with the new OS they are using. I use the flashlight function every night

Reddit— neutral

Couple of days in now and I’m still not quite satisfied. Perhaps going for a Fenix 8

Reddit▲ recommend

I’ve been loving it so far- looks amazing, has all the training stats, and the flashlight is awesome as well. No complaints about the battery life either

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

But last week I woke up to the blue triangle, read online to troubleshoot, called Garmin, and they essentially tell me my watch is shot and send me a new one.

Reddit▲ recommend

I’ve had all kinds of Garmin watches and the Venu 4 is my favorite. It’s a great combination of a touch screen watch with superior training features

Garmin Forums▼ don’t recommend

Same issue since day-1 and on every firmware version that I've been updates to: doing an activity and listening to music, watch freezes.

las funcionales excelente

Reddit▲ recommend

Ive had the garmin venu 4 since end of December and havent had one issue, my pulse ox is off at all times and I get about a solid 12 days of battery

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

The treadmill distance tracking is not working properly, i have save and clibrate it many times, the wrist gesture works intermittently

Reddit▲ recommend

The metal body and more premium feel are definitely what sparked my upgrade. I’m also really enjoying the new training metrics

Redditⓘ good to know

I have the same watch and use pulse ox ( BTW - not very accurate ) all with no issues. Run about 23 miles per week and take it off just to shower.

Redditⓘ good to know

Battery depletion at 2/3 brightness, AOD, BT checking out different watch faces, torch, calls etc was around 2.5% per hour while testing.

Redditⓘ good to know

It's absolutely tiny and barely noticeable. Still, I wanted to mention it because it happened so soon after I unboxed the watch.

Redditⓘ good to know

The problem resolved itself for me; I haven't had any problems since the last update a little over a week ago.

Redditⓘ good to know

I used the golf feature yesterday, it did take about a “day and a half” of battery

Redditⓘ good to know

My battery is lasting about 4 days between charges on Venu 4

Redditⓘ good to know

0,5mm difference between the two. Not noticeable at all
