I have a kaweco sport classic. But it doesn’t work anymore. Tried everything to get it working again. So I’m scared of getting another one.

I use it in my Kaweco Sport Honey as a daily carry pen.

Yes it is! It develops a nice patina over time. The only downside is the ink converter - the ones for kaweco sport are quite small so I have to fill it up often

Kaweco Sport with a medium nib and Kaweco blue cartridges. It was a good pen, but I quickly moved on to something with a finer nib.

i would recommend the kaweco sport. i’ve had mine for over a decade and its not beat up at all. i’m a flight attendant so i travel a lot and this pen has been super reliable for me. also is quite small once closed.

My Hongdian M2 is awesome! I like it better than my Kaweco Sport. Its metal, too, and has a wonder satiny feel in the hand.

i have a kaweco sport that i used for more than 5 years now. It has friction tip. I disassembled it too many times. No loss of tightness

While the Kaweco Sport and Fabre Castell Neo Slim wrote beautifully initially I found their build quality to be disappointing which ultimately led to them wearing worse as time went on.

I post the Kaweco Sport, otherwise the balance feels off while writing since it's such a lightweight pen.

Having tried a Kaweco Sport and several LAMY Safaris, I’d recommend going for a Pilot Kakuno or Platinum Preppy. They are cheaper and IMO write better.

Kaweco Sport is a very close second. I want the piston filler, but I can't decide if I want the plastic or the AL.

Pretty much the only pen I post these days is the Kaweco sport, because it's too tiny without posting.

my Kaweco sport is my favorite pen

Stares pointedly at my Kaweco Sport which has dried up in the last couple house because I can't get the barrel unstuck from inside the cap...

the Kaweco sport is not left handed friendly for ME. I truly do have atrocious hand posture

E.g. I'd argue Kaweco Sport to look no further, is IMO inferior in quality to Jinhao 82, (I'd even say their nibs QA is worse)

My daily pocket carry is the brass Kaweco sport. Won’t open in my pocket, takes Parker style refills so I have plenty or options, and it is a tank, I’m certain it will outlive me.

The Kaweco is nicely-built and interesting, but I pretty much just consider mine a "novelty pen" and rarely use it, just like all my other Sports which I have no idea why I bought 😝

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I don't even post my kaweco sport! I've never liked the added backweight that the pen gets while writing with the cap posted

The sport mint was my second fountain pen, only because I lost my first kaweco sport mountain climbing and loved it so much couldn’t live without one 😭

I love the Kaweco Sport but don’t really like the nib. Following some guidance from another user, I fitted a vintage flex nib to the feed. I REALLY love my Kaweco Sport now.

That is until I tried better nibs, I now dislike the Kaweco Sport nibs. Still great pens outside of that.

Kaweco sport are very comfortable, his pocket size make it a great companion in your jeans pocket, but is a little slim for some people, also all the plastic versions are really light weight

My first Kaweco Sport <M> nib 2-3 years ago was so nice, I bought an AL Piston Filler with <B> as soon as I could. And that was so nice, I bought the regular “resin” Sport Piston Filler in <M>. That was great too.
