“Does your water tank look and feel as though it was glued down?”
“I recently bought a Canopy and it is great! I can tell the difference.”
“this also happened to my Canopy humidifier as well. I can’t remember who told me this but apparently this one is just as dirty as every other humidifier on the market.”
“So easy to clean and goes back together without issues. I’ve tried many different humidifiers. They all get dirty and need to be cleaned. Canopy is by far the easiest though.”
“My canopy doesn’t work. The water level doesn’t go down”
“I had an issue where a ton of most of feathers got sucked into my fan and clogged the screen - I reached out to CX, and they sent me a new humidifier”
“Yes, it works. Maybe I'll regret it once the wick crusts up. This should cost more like $60 given how incredibly simplistic the design is.”
“I like mine , I put white noise on low also the moisture, the company is great on replacing if you have any issues”
“The filter was too big so I had to return it :(”
“did not humidify much in my 200 square foot bedroom. They're pretty useless.”
“have loved it so much that I even ordered an aroma kit to supplement the one that came with the humidifier”
“In my opinion, canopy should make it easier to get in between the mesh & vents as this would prevent such problems.”
“It whistles non-stop! It's unbearable in the bedroom!”
“I love the humidifier but I have been so frustrated with their terrible customer service.”
“No musty smell. No vinegar smell. My filters are white, pristine, and can last way past the 45 days.”
“Same thing happened with mine - it was really gross. It’s so hard to take apart and properly clean in there too.”
“It’s worth it to us even just for the fact it doesn’t leave that white dusty residue”
“I love the cleaning part. It's much better than the old style, but it's not helping me.”
“we got a bedside for my daughter’s nursery and it doesn’t seem to work as well”
“Horrible. Mine developed mold after 4 years (I can't believe I was inhaling it) even with proper cleaning.”
“mines a low whooshy noise, more calming than the fan i usually have on”
“I’m getting the Honeywell Cool Moisture humidifier which is basically the same but without the screen.”
“it’s the only humidifier we will use for rooms within the sizing for it”
“It actually made a noticeable difference in my skin overnight”

“wait this makes me want to report mine lol - I thought I was going nuts and just not hitting off but I started tracking every AM turning it off and come back every night with it back on”
“Been looking into one and found this. Don’t think I’ll be buying. Not sure if this feature has been fixed, but lots complaining about customer device https://www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAddiction/s/vXF9qdxQT9”
“The plus does NOT have this issue. You can get them to send you a plus that would be the way to go (or get refunded and buy from another brand... ) Sorry I just saw this and it's been a couple months.. how did it go?”
“How loud? Because I just got mine and it’s almost as loud as my roomba. I think it’s defective because I don’t know how a fan could be that loud. But if yours was that loud too, then I’ll return it instead of exchange it.”
“It will turn on by itself if the tray has water or the filter is damp. That is so it fully dries itself to avoid the mold.”
“If I didn't have an infant, I would agree. I barely have time to have a BM on any given day. But the other point is that they do not mention the filter needing this type of maintenance. If I had seen this posted somewhere, I would not have purchased it.”
“They ended up responding and sent me another one. Idk what I’m going to do. Now I have 2 taking up space”
“The new humidifiers don't have that mesh and everything is dishwasher safe so they've made improvements.”
“For now, I've purchased this, which I saw posted in another evaporative humidifier thread: BestAir Humidifier Bacteriostatic Algae & Odor Treatment Hopefully it helps! But I'd love to know why my filter is only lasting two weeks before stinking and discoloring!”
“I’m having trouble even unscrewing the darn thing! I’ve got the screws soaking in WD40 right now.”
“Maybe you have the first model before the slight redesign to correct a design flaw with the tower and fan. I read that it was changed to correct a mold problem. I don’t remember what the change was. It might have been removing a filter screen or something on the fan.”
“No but since I started buying the newest filters and removed the grate, it has stopped”
“Does anyone have issues with near constant gurgling noises? Like every 10-15 minutes?”
“Way late. But on mine you can get the screen off from the top. The plastic piece that has the buttons and vents on it comes off and then the mesh comes off from there. Doesn’t mean the problem isn’t there but at least it’s easier to access and clean if you have one that way.”
“I removed the grill because I also had the same issue and that was helpful.”
“i just bought the bedside one a few days ago before i saw this post! im kinda nervous now… out of curiosity, did yall let the humidifier keep running until it would run out of water and shut off automatically? or would you unplug it whenever it’s not in use even if water is still inside?”
“Instead of taking the filter out to let fully dry just let it keep running after the water has run out. Meaning if you have it on auto switch to manual and put it on either medium or high depending on how fast you want to dry out the filter, it works much faster then letting it just air dry.”
“I need to check mine, I’ve had it running for a few weeks now.”
“I see you posted an update, but my understanding is that the canopy continues running until it is dried out. During the day I take the tank off and let the fan continue to run until it senses no more water. Im not sure if this effectively dries it, but I have had a filter for 5 weeks without odor.”
“What you’re describing is actually a normal feature of the Canopy Bedside Humidifier. If there’s water remaining in the tray after you’ve turned it off, the humidifier will automatically turn back on to ensure all the water is used up. This helps maintain optimal performance and prevents mold growth.”
“Remove the tank, cap, and water tray and wash them (they’re dishwasher-safe) or hand-wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue. Check the filter installation. Make sure your antimicrobial filter is seated fully and flat in the tray so there are no gaps where air can get trapped.”
“I tried plugging in/out to reset but still happens.”
“Do you put the disinfecting fluid in the water?”
“do you have the first or second version?”
