7Hz Salnotes Zero 2

Scored on 97 verified owner verdicts, from 1,867 comments read across 5 communities
TL;DR
A standout cheap IEM praised for clear, neutral-leaning sound that over-delivers for its price. The main gripes: a bright, fatiguing treble that can hurt sensitive ears, and a stiff, uncomfortable stock cable.

67% of 97 verified owners recommend the 7Hz Salnotes Zero 2, based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

the Linsoul Zero:2 absolutely shock me at how good they sound driven by my old Samsung Note 9, no dongle, no nothing. I have weird small ear canals for a big guy, and these fit perfectly with the pink tips that came stock on them.

I was somewhat disappointed with the Zero2. They are decent, but I may have tainted my view by listening to the Castor black for most of the week before I got them.

the original Zero is one of the most annoying IEMs I've used when it comes to the tips.

YouTube▲ recommend

is now quite content with the IEM.

I have the zero 2's and have to cut 125-250hz by 2 db and boost 8-16k 2 db to get them to sound good. Even then, separation isn't optimal.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

It seems unneccessarily large/bulky.

YouTube▲ recommend

even compared to the Zero 2s, they do a great job and might even come out ahead depending on your sound preferences

Zero 2: slightly better Zero 1 with samey package; $25

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Still, i prefer the Zero (OG) than Zero 2 but i would choose Hola all the time.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I don't get that same lower treble "piercing" sound as I do with Zeros.

These are also now my favorite cheap IEM, beating out my previous go to recommendation of the BL-03. They're fantastic.

The sound quality is good, perhaps a little too quiet in the mid-range frequencies. Source either a Cowon J3 or Fiio JM21. I mostly prefer the much cheaper KZ -EDX Ultra; they're louder - especially in the mid to high, and sound more open.

I have the Zero2 and it's just alright in my opinion. Definitely not bad, but also not as good as a lot of people say. Treble is quite 'metallic' and not very pleasing for my ears. Bass and mids are alright. The cable is absolute trash.

returned Hexa and kept zero 2 they are amazing. I want music to sound good & not boring. Hexa's were harsh, then i thought about getting Zero Red but decided to try Zero 2's first & search is over man.

The Zero, and Zero2 are a bit hard to fit in my ears, so I didn't get as good an experience, but the eq is still nice, just a bit congested and I didn't get as much detail from them.

it sounded completely different once I use foam tips in my OG Salnote Zero, the bass actually better and treble is tolerable

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Decided to get the gate because wasn't a fan of the color eartips and wire

I just got zero2, cadenza and caster bass edition; I definitely love the caster for how bassy it is and the former two is quite decent on the bass while being more balanced.

Recently bought the Zero 2 and Ziigaat Nuo and they both are great for $20, albeit a different sound signature. Unbelievable how cheap these iems are for its performance.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Crin's collabs are really lacking lately.

The Zero2 is a very competitive IEM for being only $20. What the EW300 does great is taking that same awesome W sound signature and stretching it to a nice wide soundstage.

I have recently bought an iem earphone (7hz salnotes zero 2) which had cost me around 1800rs. After receiving the product i noticed that the mic wasn't working at all.

Reddit— neutral

It is V-shaped. Unfortunately for me, it does not fit into my narrow ear canal... so I had to return them. But, despite not being able to make a good seal in my ears, I still liked the sound.

Today I'm with the Zero 2. With the FX9 tips , and Crins Bruel & Kjaer EQ preset, they deliver a sound at the highest level!

Audio Science Reviewⓘ good to know

Looks like the pre-installed tips (red) are the 2nd largest in the box, they are a little small so the seal is not great, but the largest (yellow) are too big, never had this problem before with the original 7hz zero

r/iemsⓘ good to know

Audio quality is great for a 1st time iem user, only issue is comfort due to iem shape / ear tips.
