Hydro Flask Wide Mouth 32 oz

Based on 27 comments across 3 communities
TL;DR
Owners consistently praise this bottle for insulation that keeps water cold and ice intact for hours, plus durability that holds up over years of daily use. The wide mouth makes it easy to load with ice and clean, and it stays leakproof when closed. The trade-offs owners note are cosmetic dents and paint wear over time, a straw lid that some find finicky to drink from, and real weight when carried all day.

89% of 27 verified owners recommend the Hydro Flask Wide Mouth 32 oz.

Our family has owned several Hydro Flasks for close to 5 years now. The only problem I've had is with the lids of the 32 oz wide mouth flasks. First, the strap that attaches the lid to the bottle broke on all of the wide mouth flasks. Second, with a drop to a hard surface, the lid shattered on two of them and we had to order replacements.

While the Hydro is good, the straw can sometimes be horrific to actually drink out of

I also have a 32oz hydro flask water bottle. For me having something large helped me drink more water.

The new straw design is horrible !! Now matter how I adjust it I always end up getting air when I sip.

Hydro Flask is the gold standard, and from a "buy it for life" perspective that's the brand you should get.

I like the 32 oz bcos I don’t have to refill it constantly. I do half ice and half water and it melts throughout the day. I got used to the weight fairly fast.

I have a 32 oz. wide-mouth Hydro Flask in sunflower yellow and it's been my favorite Christmas gift I've ever received. :)

I love mine. I have two 32oz bottles and one 40oz. I only do ice water in them. Keeps ice for a long time.

I have a 32oz wide mouth bottle, and the mouth opening is 2 1/8" diameter. I love this thing. I have only put cold stuff in it so far, but it keeps my water cool for hours.

I purchased a stainless steel Hydro Flask 32 oz wide mouth bottle. I also got the flip up spout so I don't have to unscrew it every time I have to take a drink. I really like it because it keeps my water really cold all day.

I prefer the wide mouth version (easier to fill with ice) and keep a 32 oz with at all times.

I have their 32oz non growler version and it's amazing!

I use a HYDRO FLASK, which is wonderful, as it's about the same size and weight of a sports bottle, but is double wall vacuum insulated. They are well, well worth the cost (around 30$ for a 32oz wide mouth bottle).

The 32 oz is legitimately the sweet spot in my opinion. Not too small, not too big.

I liked the 32oz Hydro Flask so much that I got a bigger one. About a year in I dropped it on the sidewalk and a small hole messed up the vacuum insulation (still held water fine though).

I use the classic [32 oz. Hydro Flask](https://www.hydroflask.com/32-oz-wide-mouth#color=Berry) in Hawaiian and the [Yeti 36 oz. water bottle](https://www.yeti.com/drinkware/bottles/21071501751.html) in Tiffany blue.

I have a 32oz Hydro Flask that I like, but it's noticeably heavier than a plastic bottle of the same capacity. That seems like a "well duh" statement, but after you've lugged it around all day, you feel the difference. If weight isn't a concern, I'd recommend it.

I love Hydro Flask. They're extremely durable and, best of all, dishwasher safe.

I've been using a 32oz Hydro Flask Wide Mouth with Straw Lid for my daily commutes for the past 3 years. The insulation still keeps my water icy cold even on hot days, and the paint hasn't chipped at all. I love the convenience of the straw lid and the sleek design. It's definitely seen its fair share of bumps and bruises, but it's still going strong!

functionally speaking, it is great. it does the job of holding more liquid (water, in my case) than the straight bottles that fit in your cup holders, and will fit in said cup holders.

We've dropped this thing a handful of times throughout two months of testing and have only found a couple of small (like real small) dents along the bottom edge.

Reddit▲ recommend

The best thing they ever released. Leakproof, so I can shove it in a gym bag, but has the cup holder width so I can enjoy it while on the road!

Our Hydro Flask Wide Mouth has kept us hydrated for years...its only scars are a few dents and a worn paint job.

this bottle definitely will not leak when fully closed, even if oriented upside down.
