What a disappointment, it's more of the same, Bose making rehashes

Thank you for mentioning the weak battery life. I returned my SoundLink for the Beats Pill

I hate fighting with the stereo pairing of the flex 1

I ditched my original Flex with Bluetooth 4.2, terrible battery life and slower charging for a Beats Pill

when it connects to my macbook the sound is completely shit. It's muffled and can't even make what a video is saying even on full volume.

Battery life is a major deal killer. No thanks.

Setup quirks & things to watch for

Not complaints — practical notes from owners that didn't affect the score.

Even the voice of the woman saying stereo mode, left, right is weirdly stuffy and formal now. Why do companies change things that don’t need changing for the sake of it

I have the same problem. My '24 took the update, but my '25 is still at firmware 4.11.26. I went in circles with the Bose chatbot. I will trust in that the speaker will update in the next 2 weeks.

Updates are coming model by model, and the country is also important. Wait a few more days, maybe the update will arrive. Bose said they would bring it to all Soundlink devices by the end of March.

This is a friendly reminder that the SE is different from a regular sound like Flex. It doesn’t have a microphone to talk to, but the sound levels are all the same, which is why this one is cheaper.

Could you provide a review. I am confused between jbl flip 7 and bose flex 2. I mostly watch movies and series, and I need a rich bass while the vocals are clear.

After the firmware upgrade my SoundLink flex Gen 2 speaker no longer Auto Powers off. I've come back to a 0% battery multiple times. Anyone else have this issue?
Flimsy-Coach-8124 on Reddit
Is there no way to check the battery when using them in stereo now? Even the app doesn't show the battery when connected to both unless I'm missing something

Thanks for your hard work. I just bought this product after owning a Soundlink Mini II for years and my God! How loud is the start up sound. Can’t believe more people haven’t complained.
