Mine broke after 2 months. Vibrarise module jammed, but nothing was jamming it.

IDK man at this price point I wouldn't expect gimmicks. Seems RoboRock thinks their fans will buy whatever they push out. I'm not convinced

Roborock provides no service after the warranty has expired! Good luck

Roborock is lying to consumers pretty horribly with their suction numbers.
@Denquu on YouTube
my impressions is RR is going to add new features without fixing the little downsides of the past models. What a pity!
@kronos04 on YouTube
I hate the fact that they now use bagged systems instead of the bagless system.
@HiNickCares on YouTube
the machine is extremely volatile, and the support is non-existent
@PeerMøller on YouTube
It's crazy that something that should be able to vacuum to a insane price of almost $2.000 is so bad. The hype is real with this one.
@ChristianBlueChimp on YouTube
My S8 totally failed on this.

Roborock has claimed to fix the issues for quite some time now, but they still haven't taken any action.

I can buy 18 vacuums for the price of this one with actual suction with a beater bar and it lasts 20 years.

Setup quirks & things to watch for

Not complaints — practical notes from owners that didn't affect the score.

I have had the s8maxv ultra since they came out it actually got stuck once it was my fault. It picked up a flat plastic bag and jammed

When I first got my S8MaxV ultra I only added distilled water, but it gets cumbersome and expensive really fast. The robot is using quite a bit of water, after 2 runs the reservoir is empty. Now I'm adding tap water, no difference at all.
