“Once I started baking bread I bought a bowl lift professional 5 plus. It is way tougher and works well, but heavy dough really taxes it and I have smelled burnt wiring a few times while kneading. I like the tilt head for medium duty work, but I don't think I would recommend a bowl lift to anyone.”— Thinkbeforeyouspeakk on Reddit
“I'm desperate at this point because it feels like I wasted a ton of money on something that is basically useless.”— Turbo2x on Reddit
“Has anyone had issues with their coated flat beater chipping? I've used mine probably 30ish times and the darn thing chipped this week after making cookies and banana bread.”— MoPheb25 on Reddit
“At this point I have to decide to keep fighting with it, switch back to Artisan and deal with hopping, or be a crazy person and buy an Ankarsrum”— A1ways85 on Reddit
“Happens to me EVERY SINGLE TIME. So I’m ready to change to a better product. The price w3 pay for the mixer, we shouldn’t be having this issue.”— Curious_Ad7059 on Reddit
“I don’t use the official attachments because of this. They seem to corrode and make a small amount of swelling inside the opening.”— ScumbagSpruce on Reddit
“Yeah I burned through two of these during Kitchenaid's extremely limited one year warranty. Third one has been sort of lucky so far though the attachment port cover snapped off since it's under torque when any attachment is in use.”— Vomitus_The_Emetic on Reddit
“I used both of them and returned. Both are big for a smaller portion. 3qt comes with Sam’s kitchen aid but it was not right to fit. I felt like they just give it to you extra to attract but it was not working well, not scraping everything even though it’s small bowl.”— Interesting-Rush5400 on Reddit
“she also noticed that it seemed to be struggling even when it was kneading”— Ares_01 on Reddit

“I have the pro 5 plus and do not have this issue (just used the dough hook tonight) Perhaps you can tap it back in place? I think this is kind of a monkey model tbh”— Vomitus_The_Emetic on Reddit
“Mine stucked at the beginning too. But they “grinded”together after a few uses and works well, easy to applicate. Warm water on the hook helps.”— timrdra on Reddit
