Buds 4 pro, none of the sizes fit well, constantly fall out, never feel like they sit well in the ears

Reddit▲ recommend

wow it's a night and day difference when you use the earbuds on a Samsung device vs any other device. And they finally don't fall out my ear.

What I will say is the control scheme on the gb4pro is really nice, and the labs feature for tapping the edge is also nice.

They sound really good, but I couldn't get the buds 3 pro to stay in my years so I imagine these won't fit either.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

the ANC somehow glitch out with the audio when watching pirated movies on phone browser

Reddit▲ recommend

They did feel like a big step up compared to the BP3 considering theyre able to go toe to toe with the XM6

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

as soon as I raise any frequency, the overall volume of the earphones decreases a lot

Reddit▲ recommend

The 4s are way better for better too sounds better in calls quality on both ends are better as well

Reddit— neutral

Comfort has been the biggest benefit to me, surprisingly. I do find the ANC hiss fairly annoying though.

Reddit— neutral

to me they sound the same (which is still very good) but I was expecting some crazy difference

Reddit▲ recommend

the finish samsung puts on their buds has always felt more premium in my experience

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

My only issue with them is how flat they sound when there are loud noises around.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

swapping to the Buds4 Pro for Bluetooth recording have shown they do pretty awful

Reddit— neutral

They sound pretty amazing when you're using both earbuds, but kinda muddy when using only one.

Reddit▲ recommend

They are incredibly elegant, and I’m genuinely satisfied with the hardware.

Reddit— neutral

the ANC is still slightly lacking but they sound really good and are so comfortable

Reddit▲ recommend

the buds4 pro ANC is great and hopefully improves with software updates

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

worked flawlessly until a week and a half ago, then I started having that issue

Reddit▲ recommend

the bass does feel pretty good. More thump without getting very muddy

Reddit— neutral

Wonderful sound but they sit horribly in the ear compared to the first gen Buds

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

the case doesn't hold the charge. It discharges by itself by just laying around

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

Had to send them back because they wouldn't work properly with my Google Pixel.

Reddit▲ recommend

Airpods are so uncomfortable and it barely does what Samsung buds do.

Reddit— neutral

I love everything else about the Galaxy buds. Just wish their ANC was better.

Common problems & things to know

Practical notes owners raise — setup, quirks, and issues to watch for. They don't say whether the person likes the product, so they're not counted in the score, but they inform the pros, cons, and who it's for.

Redditⓘ good to know

But is the mic quality and pickup actually better? Every year i hope it to be better yet it keeps being the same as I have the b3p and people on the other end struggle to hear me clearly.

Redditⓘ good to know

Whats the battery life compared to buds3 pro? I always find them so underwhelming - but might be a personal pref. I tend to have long sessions coding/creating stuff. (4h+)

Redditⓘ good to know

Too bad I like all the integration within the Galaxy ecosystem that I kinda have to stay with the Galaxy Buds. Good to know Pixel Buds Pro have good transparency too tho.

Redditⓘ good to know

Case battery will start draining fast once samsung releases the buds5 they provide faulty updates so that the current version of buds can downgrade and people spend money in purchasing new one

Redditⓘ good to know

Yo everyone saying the buds3pro of buds4pro mics are bad, I genuinely want to know what your basing that on because there are very few wireless earbuds with better sounding mics for phone calls

Redditⓘ good to know

I ordered this and it's coming tomorrow. I loved the buds 3 pro, easily one of the best earbuds I've used. So excited to see all the improvements you've mentioned.

Redditⓘ good to know

I only use one bud at a time, though, for safety reasons. It won't let me use ANC with just one, so I can only use ambient sound. AirPods let me use ANC with one bud, so that might be the difference.

Redditⓘ good to know

If the sound in the new headphones is so good, why do many write that with the latest firmware, the sound and noise cancellation are worse on previous models?

Redditⓘ good to know

Just ordered in black i really wanted white but i was skeptical of it yellowing or being dirty so went with black. Got it for 174 usd. Waiting for them now.

Redditⓘ good to know

do you use non Samsung laptop how does the connection from it to Samsung buds? do Samsung still try to lock the multipoint bluetooth to their own ecosystem?

Redditⓘ good to know

On the brightside of gb4p case is that you can clean the contacts easily. Whereas gb3p or app3 you gotta stick something down the hole and hope you get it.

Redditⓘ good to know

Excited to try them out cause the current pair i have is the Galaxy Buds+ havent use any of the newer ones so hoping the 4 pro will be quite a nice a jump

Redditⓘ good to know

Is this review made out of the box or after a firmware update ? (Assuming Samsung had released at least one) Considering those. Using the OnePlus Buds 4.

Redditⓘ good to know

Your going to have a wonderful time espically the sound quality. First I would listen to the stock sound and then put my EQ and prepare to be mind blown!

Redditⓘ good to know

I opted for Apple ones for some time now but with an android phone and the sound quality, I miss Samsung buds! This post may have convince to splurge and purchase and hope my ears don't get inflamed or ooze....

Redditⓘ good to know

I tried your EQ and it does sound great. I've had problems from the beginning getting a good fit with my right earbud. Ordered Azla's but had to cancel today due to shipping issues. Are you using the stock tips?

Redditⓘ good to know

I understand you can do the same thing with any phone/earbud combo by selecting Pro mode on the android camera app, and selecting BT option for audio. I haven't tested it yet, though. Here's the test: My Pin Mic Test

Redditⓘ good to know

Thanks for the write up! Are there aftermarket ear tips you might recommend for the Buds 4 Pro? I'm open to trying foam, silicone, etc. Thanks

Redditⓘ good to know

But for the usage case as described, where the camera can be on a tripod across the street, clearly the Bluetooth microphone wins in that case

Redditⓘ good to know

There are additional settings that boost dialogue in front if the wearer, and these work. Can't comment on how well compared to pro 3 though.

Redditⓘ good to know

I have both and what mkbhd said is all true from my stance. But we all have different ears so its understandable, that opinions will vary.

Redditⓘ good to know

How is the call quality with Buds 4 Pro as compared to Buds 3 Pro in WINDY conditions? Buds 3 Pro are excellent in loud environments (up to 85 dB) but suffer on windy conditions. I wonder if Buds 4 Pro improved in that regard.

Redditⓘ good to know

Will they be worth it even if I don't have a high-end Samsung phone? I have the A56 and I don't think it's compatible with SSC-UHQ.

Redditⓘ good to know

What do you think about buds 3 pro? Buds 4 pro are out of my budget. I have never owned premium buds so shall I go for buds 3 pro?
