I have the a3500 and I wish I would’ve gone with the 5200. That narrower 64 ounce container will be just fine. Definitely what I would get if I were to buy again.

The 5200 is a better blender. The A3500 is a better all around machine.

we have never regretted buying one for a single moment and it has hands down improved our family's nutrition and quality of life. So if you're hesitating, go for it!!!

I spent $650 on a Vitamix a3500 blender. Best money ever spent compared to my ninja blender it's 100x better.

The smell of my A3500 went away after a few uses.

the A2500 which I liked more than the A3500

it's the real deal in commercial kitchens!

I have the A3500. I also read about the sound dampening, but honestly if this thing is dampened, I feel bad for the people using one at a normal volume. The blender is loud. Especially at full speed with the fan kicked on.

I have the A3500 but I never use the presets, ever. I feel like it was a waste, but if you think about it, it's 9 bucks a year extra for 10 years warranty, so it doesn't really matter.

Really fantastic machine!

I do have the A3500. It's supposed to be quieter but I can tell you it's still quite loud.

I have an a3500 and it blends to a perfect consistency. I make condiments mostly, but quiet? No. It's not quiet at all.

Ascent A3500 and the Ascent X series are a bit quieter. But overall still loud.

YouTube▲ recommend

I find the A3500really simple to use, and convenient.

I wear noise cancelling headphones every time I run my A3500.

My A3500 is quieter than my friend’s Ninja, but it still sounds like a blender.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

My brand new A3500 direct from Vitamix definitely has a strong smell when running. Almost like the smell of an electrical fire, but not quite. Only used 3x so far, but it \*stinks\*.

YouTube▲ recommend

I like the look of the A3500 more than the new model but can’t go wrong with either Vitamix is the best you can get

My main complaints, were that the 64oz container wouldn't mix small batches

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

Nobody needs the a3500. I regret it. People on this sub tried to dissuade me and I ignored them thinking the flagship model would be the best choice.

I have a Vitamix Ascent A3500 and it’s the best blender I’ve ever had. Echoing the person above to say that it blends everything and anything

Reddit— neutral

Having an a3500 it isn’t what I would call ‘quiet’. 5-10 db quieter isn’t nothing but it also doesn’t mean I can hear speakers while the blender is going.

upgraded my older version (mind you it was 20 years old and needed to be upgraded) to the new A3500 and was sincerely hoping it would be less deafening then my older one however was disappointed in the noise level.

I have the a3500 and the 64 container and have leaking As well when I put it through the wash cycle. It doesn’t leak with anything else. I’d say it’s normal

I just bought my very first Vitamix and have been using the A3500 (top of the line) for a couple days after doing tons of research. Here's what I found out: 1. If you use a lot of frozen fruits in your smoothie, your blender is not going to work well just by turning it on unless you put a good amount of liquid at the bottom. I prefer my smoothie thicker tha

I did get the a3500 which came with the 64 ounce carafe and bought the 48oz one after noticing i wasn’t using the majority of the volume of the 64 ounce carafe day to day.

Redditⓘ good to know

I have the a3500 and was looking into getting one of the tall, old containers. Turns out that they don’t seem to work with the a3500 because they’re not self detect.

I now have what they say is the most quiet model A3500(?) and don’t dare go past 6+ because I don’t want to damage my hearing or annoy the neighbors

As someone who owns both the Cuisinart Custom-14 and the A3500, I would argue for getting a separate food processor IF you’re going to actually use it. The Vitamix attachment isn’t meaningfully smaller or less expensive.

we run our containers + lids through the dishwasher a couple times a week and have for a couple years now without any negative consequences.

Redditⓘ good to know

I have had my A3500 for a week or so. I usually put two half pieces of frozen banana in my shakes in the morning. I am not sure if they are perfect pearls, but there is usually at least one or two 1/4-1/2” bits of banana.
