Vitamix A3500

TL;DR
Most owners are thrilled with how smooth it blends and how much they reach for it daily, and many trust the long warranty. The recurring gripes are real, though: it's genuinely loud once you push past speed 6, the Self-Detect containers can be fiddly or stop recognizing the smaller cups, and a vocal group feels the smart features and presets aren't worth the price jump over a plain 5200. It's best for someone who blends often and wants top-of-the-line convenience, looks, and a long warranty.

66% of 222 verified owners recommend the Vitamix A3500.

I spent $650 on a Vitamix a3500 blender. Best money ever spent compared to my ninja blender it's 100x better.

I have the a3500 and I wish I would’ve gone with the 5200. That narrower 64 ounce container will be just fine. Definitely what I would get if I were to buy again.

The smell of my A3500 went away after a few uses.

I have the A3500 but I never use the presets, ever. I feel like it was a waste, but if you think about it, it's 9 bucks a year extra for 10 years warranty, so it doesn't really matter.

I have a Vitamix Ascent A3500 and it’s the best blender I’ve ever had. Echoing the person above to say that it blends everything and anything

I have the A3500. I also read about the sound dampening, but honestly if this thing is dampened, I feel bad for the people using one at a normal volume. The blender is loud. Especially at full speed with the fan kicked on.

I do have the A3500. It's supposed to be quieter but I can tell you it's still quite loud.

I have an a3500 and it blends to a perfect consistency. I make condiments mostly, but quiet? No. It's not quiet at all.

I spent $800 on a Vitamix A3500 with accessories and it pays itself off so quickly and makes much more enjoyable smoothies and many other culinary experiences. It is such a useful tool.

Ascent A3500 and the Ascent X series are a bit quieter. But overall still loud.

Selected the smoothie option in my A3500. Gave 2 glasses of super awesome orange kiwi juice.

I wear noise cancelling headphones every time I run my A3500.

I have an A3500 and it makes peanut butter just as easily and quickly as my old 5200.

My brand new A3500 direct from Vitamix definitely has a strong smell when running. Almost like the smell of an electrical fire, but not quite. Only used 3x so far, but it \*stinks\*.

My A3500 is quieter than my friend’s Ninja, but it still sounds like a blender.

I bought the A3500 for like $350 and that thing is a damn workhorse. It also looks really nice and clean looking.

Nobody needs the a3500. I regret it. People on this sub tried to dissuade me and I ignored them thinking the flagship model would be the best choice.

I have the a3500 and the 64 container and have leaking As well when I put it through the wash cycle. It doesn’t leak with anything else. I’d say it’s normal

I just bought my very first Vitamix and have been using the A3500 (top of the line) for a couple days after doing tons of research. Here's what I found out: 1. If you use a lot of frozen fruits in your smoothie, your blender is not going to work well just by turning it on unless you put a good amount of liquid at the bottom. I prefer my smoothie thicker tha

upgraded my older version (mind you it was 20 years old and needed to be upgraded) to the new A3500 and was sincerely hoping it would be less deafening then my older one however was disappointed in the noise level.

so I got a vitamix a3500, which makes hot soup just from the friction of the blades (and only takes around 7 minutes). It was a game changer for me! The a3500 vitamix comes with a beautiful hardcover cookbook that includes hot soup recipes. Read here: https://www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/what-you-can-make/hot-soups I also make two smoothies everyday (one break

I have the a3500 and was looking into getting one of the tall, old containers. Turns out that they don’t seem to work with the a3500 because they’re not self detect.

Anyone knows if it's possible to fix Error E3 2.2 on A3500 model? The blender is almost new, the cool down doesn't help. The display turns on, but as soon as you start the machine, the error kicks in without making a single blade spin.

I have the A3500 and love it. I’m not sure if the aer works on the 750 or not but I use it a lot for mixed drinks so if it didn’t work on the 750 I would be disappointed myself.
