NEVER put the container in a dishwasher! The detergent WILL ruin the bearings.

I have a Vitamix Explorian E310 and it is simply superior. My family has used nearly a dozen blenders from thrift stores and friends and they are really different machines. A good blender means NO fibers from greens and NO ice chunks.

I have to hold my container (large one) while blending otherwise it starts to rotate. I love making peanut butter and cashew butter with it.

Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!

the only thing keeping me from buying a vitamix is the fact that they dont have a vacuum lid option

I agree that the lid is made overly stiff and requires fairly precise placement and some strength to ensure a proper seal.

Other than that, I love it!

I actually do have the problem of the blender "walking" across the counter, even when I put nonslip pads under it.

On 10 this thing is a literal jet engine!

I got mine on a crazy sale for like half the price (plus I think it was renewed), and that thing is a beast. I worked in pro kitchens and couldn't use any of those crappy cheaper ones you'd see in a Bad, Bath & Beyond or wherever, because they're all garbage. I blend soups in this one and they're silky smooth. Same with smoothies, which for me is a bunch

I am still in awe how much better the ninja runs circles around my Vitamix when it comes to daily usage.. single serve smoothies.. shredding chicken..

a Vitamix blender like the E310 Explorian, which I personally own and love, offers exceptional blending power and reliability.

Was considering the E310 but read about the same issues with the lid and it's for my family who are also arthritic and weak.

Reddit▲ recommend

Just tried it today and it obliterated ice and frozen fruit to a smoothness my Ninja personal smoothie blender never could.

The jug is loose

the only thing that annoys me is the lid. It's really hard to put on and take off.

Yes I agree the explorian is a great investment. Bought one last year. Build quality is excellent.

I got the Vitamix E310 on sale from Best Buy a few days ago for a little over $300 and it was one of the best investments I have made in recent times. My new vitamix makes consistently smooth smoothies, and I'm talking like professional smoothie quality you would buy at a juice bar.

Jug is made out of plastic. Pathetic for something that expensive.

I don’t like that it’s bulky

Reddit▲ recommend

I'd go with a Vitamix blender (I have and love the E310 Explorian).

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I don't recommend e310. There's isn't even mini container for it. And it moves while running so I use my one hand on it always. And so noisy.

The only blender I’ve ever had that can make a drink actually have the Frappuccino texture is my Vitamix Explorian from the E310 series, but after taxes it was ~400 usd. We use a ton of Vitamix products at Starbucks and their blenders will last over 10 years but it definitely is an investment.

Got myself a vitamix E310 explorian about a year ago. I use it pretty much every day and it's a nearly flawless device. Cannot recommend enough if you're in the market for a new blender. I have certain digestive issues and a blender really does wonders mechanically breaking down fibrous foods.
