Timemore 064S

Based on 60 comments across 4 communities
TL;DR
Owners broadly love the Sculptor 064s as a do-it-all single-dose grinder, praising near-zero retention, quiet operation, and grind quality and alignment that many rate ahead of the DF64 and Fellow Ode. The most common complaint is that the espresso range feels compressed and the adjustment dial is fiddly to dial in finely, and a few find the burrs awkward to remove. A small number who took it apart felt the internals were under-engineered for the price, and one owner received a unit with a high-pitched resonance.

67% of 60 verified owners recommend the Timemore 064S.

I quite like the Timemore if it’s in your budget

I have taken apart both a 078s and a 064s and while it may be easy to put together, it is a horribly engineered product compared to a Mazzer.

the one major thing I dislike about it is how hard it is to take out the burrs. Other than that I think it has a better workflow than df64

Pretty good but still not as great as I would like. I make good shots when using the paper filter but when I don't its very inconsistent

it's been an awesome combo with a very small footprint for my small apartment kitchen, and have had no problem dialing in a couple medium-light to light roasts on it for espresso

I currently have the timemore sculptor 064s and find it annoying for both espresso and pour over, which I make both on the regular.

I did a light roast espresso with it and experience zero stalling so far

The 064S is just a bit fiddly for espresso because the available range is compressed/coarse -- but I use mine every day

I got a 064s and unboxed it and it has a terribly high pitched resonance. I can't tell if maybe I'm sensitive to it or got two defective units in a row.

Your grinder is notorious for coming misaligned from Timemore. I received two highly misaligned 064 from them and ended up having to return the first and do a credit card chargeback when they refused the second return.

It has been about 10 months now, and I am quite satisfied.

vertical flat burrs are giving a very clean, strict taste output

It's hard to precisely read the line and numbers because they're far apart and on different planes. It's inconvenient but it's not a 100% necessity to have the 3d printed part.

All in all I still like my 064s. No regrets

The 064s vertical burr design won't be lucky enough like Eureka Mignon, I am sure I need to take apart the grinder

Opening that grinder up is so fucking annoying it makes me not want to clean it.

I absolutely adore my Timemore 064s. It definitely has taken a while to season but after 4 months and almost every day useage, it has gotten super consistant and provides fantastic shots

I have the 064s and it's a great espresso grinder. I did not enjoy the stock burrs for pour over and the range is a little limited for pour over as well.

Timemore Sculptor is a fair shout, but there are definitely more better options once someone is trying to balance espresso and pour-over in one grinder.

Ive recently gotten the 064s and it’s been a vast improvement for me. Coming from a fairly budget kitchenaid grinder it has made a world of difference.

I think the timemore stuff has too many quirks to ignore for a 500+ grinder

I upgraded from the Sage SGP to a Timemore Sculptor 064s. It's a night and day difference in usability, ease of adjustment, lack of retention

The timemore will shut down if a rock gets in. Then you take it apart and remove the rock and all will be fine.

everything in these 2 grinders is really well done and then you have this small stupid design flaw.
