Timemore 064S

Scored on 55 verified owner verdicts, from 1,314 comments read across 5 communities
TL;DR
Owners broadly love the Sculptor 064s as a do-it-all single-dose grinder, praising near-zero retention, quiet operation, and grind quality and alignment that many rate ahead of the DF64 and Fellow Ode. The most common complaint is that the espresso range feels compressed and the adjustment dial is fiddly to dial in finely, and a few find the burrs awkward to remove. A small number who took it apart felt the internals were under-engineered for the price, and one owner received a unit with a high-pitched resonance.

73% of 55 verified owners recommend the Timemore 064S, based on real owner verdicts aggregated from Reddit, enthusiast forums, and YouTube.

sometimes, the 064s and 078s would make slightly clumpy grounds not found in other grinders

Reddit— neutral

the one major thing I dislike about it is how hard it is to take out the burrs. Other than that I think it has a better workflow than df64

I actually like the opaque hoppers so much more.

Pretty good but still not as great as I would like. I make good shots when using the paper filter but when I don't its very inconsistent

YouTube▲ recommend

Timemore been killing it lately, excellent scales and drippers and now grinder. You love to see it.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

The sound of the coffee grinding in the 64 killed me on the inside sadly

Reddit— neutral

The 064S is just a bit fiddly for espresso because the available range is compressed/coarse -- but I use mine every day

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

The only two big complaints I have with my 64s are : the ON/OFF switch that is difficult to use (you have sometimes to press it multiple times) ; the fact that some beans remains stuck in the grinder and temporarily stops it

YouTube▲ recommend

This is a great grinder before, and now greater.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

The on/off button wears out quickly, half of the time it doesn't work anymore when i push it.

the larger chute (considering the knocker part) will limit your choice of workflow

I have had it for almost 8-9 months and could not be happier with it. Very consistent from day 1.

YouTube▲ recommend

I'm happy I backed the 078s and 064s at the early-bird pricing, although I'm now considering switching to the 078.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Why did they ever put that rpm adjustment at the back?

YouTube— neutral

I've never had a bean stuck but often get some crumbs.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I have taken apart both a 078s and a 064s and while it may be easy to put together, it is a horribly engineered product compared to a Mazzer.

YouTube▲ recommend

That’s honestly kind of impressive.

Reddit— neutral

It's hard to precisely read the line and numbers because they're far apart and on different planes. It's inconvenient but it's not a 100% necessity to have the 3d printed part.

Reddit— neutral

I have the 064s and it's a great espresso grinder. I did not enjoy the stock burrs for pour over and the range is a little limited for pour over as well.

YouTube▲ recommend

didn’t realize all the upgrades on the gen 2 also impressed

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I currently have the timemore sculptor 064s and find it annoying for both espresso and pour over, which I make both on the regular.

Reddit— neutral

Timemore Sculptor is a fair shout, but there are definitely more better options once someone is trying to balance espresso and pour-over in one grinder.

YouTube▲ recommend

Sold me on the new one.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I have the 064s but been seeing a lot of stalling in my pour over experience.
