TL;DR

I had to turn it off because sometimes I would accidentally tap it on my leg or some object nearby and change pages without meaning to. It got annoying

I have the 12th Gen Paperwhite Signature Edition and like it better than the basic because it is waterproof and I like to read by the pool and in the tub.

I do believe all the Kindle 12th Gen are tinted green, so I settled on the one that is the least tinted.

One occasional problem is the kindle freezes while reading causing a forced shutdown and rebooting. Otherwise it’s been clear sailing.

It is insane how fast it is. I thought the lag was inherent in all ereaders, but the PW12 SMOKES all other Kobo's.

Kindle has better screen and fit and finish, kobo has better UI and portability.
