Razer BlackShark V2 Pro

Based on 229 comments across 2 communities
TL;DR
Owners consistently praise the BlackShark V2 Pro for its class-leading microphone, all-day comfort, and immersive sound, and plenty have used theirs for two to five years without a single issue. The big caveat is durability on newer units: the plastic headband hinge and clamp are a widespread failure point on 2023-and-later models, often cracking within a year or two, so much so that 3D-printed replacement brackets have become a popular fix. Expect to spend some time in Razer's software dialing in the EQ to get the best audio.

Before this I used the razer blackshark v2 pro headset and I liked it but the battery started to die (it got to the point that it had to be plugged in almost constantly) so I wanted to get myself something else

I use razer blackshark v2 pros and while I'd usually not recommend razer headsets these are different. They're super great and I consistently hear things my friends don't. The battery life is crazy long too on em as I regularly have them on for 12-14 hours between gaming and just listening to music and stuff.

I even hate the feeling of my blacksharks on my head now because of how much less earspace there is.

If youre a bass lover like me the Razer blackshark v2 pro are quite nice, but they got a myriad of problems aswell, battery time being somewhere around 4-8hours is one of them.

I switched from Sennheiser HD58x Jubilee to Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless and imo it’s worth it. It’s a greatly reviewed headset by reviewers who own audiophile headphones, which grabbed my attention. Slight degrade in audio quality from the Jubilee’s, but far more comfortable and convenient.

I have the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro wireless headphones which are my favorite headphones ever and have had them for over 4 years with no issues

they are better in every way except comfort and chat mix compared to be arctis 7. Im really debating returning the blacksharks and going back to my 6 year old arctis 7.

I had the blackshark V2 pro (I believe it's just a wireless version of the Blackshark V2) and it wasn't that bad, very comfy and had an alright sound but broke in 1 month

I had the razer blackshark v2 pro until the usb charging ports didnt work. It was good for the price. Other than the usb port, i dont have any build quality issue

Razer Blackshark v2 Pro. So comfortable I forget they’re on my head. I like them so much I bought several pair.

I have a dialog I record on my PC between my A7, the AP (Audeze Penrose), Razer Blackshark V2 Pro and these. Holy. Crap. The mic quality on the Corsair just blew me away. It sounds better than all of them combined.

I recently bought Razer Blackshark V2 PRO which were really good for gaming, pretty comfortable, but I don't like them for listening to music. And the wireless version of PRO model was not worth the extra 80$.

I think i would choose my latest headset, the Razer blackshark V2 pro They have a very cushioned headband and are very light, plus wireless and very good sound.

I use it on the Razer Blackshark v2 Pro, because the included mic barely even works

I bought a Razer Blackshark V2 Pro about 4-years ago, and surprisingly it's lasted. I know going forward that I'll need to look for another brand.

I use Razer Blackshark v2 pro wireless with my x17 r1 and they’re perfect. Recently switched to audiophile headphones and they’re better but in terms of “gaming” headsets nothing beats the blackshark.

The plastic bracket on the headband is quite brittle and other people on Amazon seem to face the same issue. It's a shame. This is a really nice headset, but it's built like paper.

Razer Blackshark V2 Pro 2023 are a piece of crap. Right now they are back with reseller on warranty. 2 times the same issue of buzzing in headphones, like a constant buzz noise.

I would go for Razer Blackshark V2’s wireless, or you could get the wired versions for much cheaper. Iv tried most headsets and these were the only “gaming” ones that actually sounded alive and not flat.

I think I preferred the sound profile on my old Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, but the required software and build quality were just such a nightmare

Headset is comfortable and not to heavy. Sit wells on the head and has adjustments. They clamp well and if you wear glasses they don't seem to both them at all unless you are moving your head around a lot!

In the same week my $300 headset from then broke as well, shit quality. Picked up a wireless hyperx headset for half the price and the quality kills the Razer Blackshark V2 pro..

I am using blackshark v2 pro and I was also a fan of headphone, I would say blackshark is not that great as a headphone
