I have the HOF2 but cant help thinking the Boss sounds better..especially the shimmer

YouTube▲ recommend

It's a really nice sounding pedal with nice features for someone who don't require the sound quality of more expensive reverb pedals such as the Strymon stuff etc.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

TC is muddy and blurry.

the HOF2 excels in the realm of big ambient washes of sound, capturing a certain dreamy quality. I just purchased the HOF2 and am waiting

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

My HOF just died 2 weeks ago.

YouTube▲ recommend

the sounds of the hof2 inspired and moved me. That didn't happen with the other reverbs in your videos. So I bought one.

The Boss RV-6 edges the HOF2 out with some extra spark and presence, but if I was randomly given one of them I'd be happy with either.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I hate shimmer with a passion. Sounds like a cheap Eko Tiger Duo organ from the 1980's.

YouTube▲ recommend

I prefer the Hall of Fame 2, so that's what I bought. Seems just overall more flexible and feature-full.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

absolutely not a "useful" pedal. The thing can't even handle distortion at all. Its for sure not a daily driver pedal, its more of a specialized sound it provides.

YouTube▲ recommend

I like the HOF 2 especially the TonePrint function

uff, diferents taste . but a little rv6.

each TC pedal i bought had knobs issues, it sounds amazing, about quality it's not as good as boss.

YouTube▲ recommend

Both are phenomenal pedals. I own both of them and they individually give something the other can't

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

RV6 shimmer killed the HoF 😅

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I like both but the mash switch on my HOF2 broke, so I got the RV-6 because Boss pedals are so durable.

YouTube▲ recommend

I prefer the HoF2 because The pedal has true bypass, buffer, kill dry

YouTube— neutral

As a HOF2 owner, I wish I bought the RV-6 after watching this

All the new features are great and all but when are you going to release a reverb that has at least footswitchable presets

YouTube▲ recommend

The firmware on the TC sounds more authentic. The tails on the Boss end too abruptly.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I have the same issue. Strangely enough, it sometimes fixes itself (so I guess there is no hardware issue). But it always reverts to the same problem after a few on/offs.

I heard the Hall of Fame switch breaks after a while and is impossible to fix....Some don't like the MASH button either

YouTube▲ recommend

TC 👍👍👍👍

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

HOF 2 main selector knob doesn't notch so it's easy to go past each setting. for the money worth avoiding and the MASH feature is basically worthless. I have one, biggest waste of money on my board.
