“Same thing happened to me twice and I just used tweezers to pull it out the first time. Second time I didn’t have tweezers so I used the 3.5mm jack to dig it out. Took about ten seconds, can’t imagine going to the ER to have it removed.”

“I think I was using the Shure black foam tips that the time looking back, these were closer to the Etymotic Mushroom foams in texture (Smooth and shiny) rather than the regular foams that are usually included. I think they must have lasted a good 6 months a pair.”

“Yeah, I love the frosted tips' fit, but as time went on, they stopped gripping the IEMs very well. When I pull the ER2XRs out of my ears, I need to do this finger-thing where I grip the large, third flange by using the tip of my index finger to press it against the IEM housing. It works.”
