What owners like
  • Impressively good sound straight out of the box, with owners calling it one of the best-sounding pre-builts they've used and noting a big improvement over previous boards · 5 · 28%
  • Strong value for the price, with owners saying it feels like it could cost far more (one mentioning it could pass for a 200€ CNC-aluminum board) and pointing to deals like a 10% discount code or ~$19 units as steals · 4 · 22%
  • Smooth, pleasant typing feel with solid build once assembled and genuinely good stock stabilizers · 4 · 22%
  • A great stock pre-built for newcomers to the custom keyboard hobby, feeling complete and fun to use without any modding required · 3 · 17%
What owners flag
  • Switch reliability problems that develop over months of use, including double-triggering or keys ceasing to register (reported anywhere from 5 weeks to 8 months in), plus switches needing regular internal cleaning and lubrication to stay reliable · 9 · 50%
  • Wired and wireless connectivity failures, including boards that won't connect at all out of the box, wireless dropping out or refusing to reconnect after weeks/months of normal use, and RGB not functioning correctly in wireless mode · 6 · 33%
  • RGB color gets washed out by tinted switch housings (e.g., cream yellow switches turning blue lighting whitish), with no real fix beyond swapping switch color or tweaking settings · 3 · 17%
Who it's for
A great fit if
  • Newcomers to custom keyboards wanting a great sound/feel out of the box
  • Buyers who prize typing feel and stock stabilizer quality over deep modding
  • Budget-conscious owners who want premium sound without building a custom board
  • Those who don't mind hot-swapping switches later if the stock ones wear out
Look elsewhere if
  • Gamers needing rock-solid double-press-free keys, since some report double triggering
  • Buyers wanting reliable wireless/Bluetooth, given recurring connection dropouts
  • Anyone modding heavily, since disassembly risks breaking fragile side LEDs/case

Hollow sounding but nothing a little foam cant fix

THIS WAS ACTUALLY THE KEYBOARD I WAS GOING FOR since it was basically a tac75he with better build quality and same performance whilst almost being the same price!

they concluded the problem was software issue , then I return it to the store. I have tested the keyboard again after a year they release, they didn't fix it. Goodbye akko

YouTube▲ recommend

I have this keyboard 1 mounth and i still cannot believe how good this keyboard is. I will not mention things that i love the most but if you wanna buy this keyboard then.. BUY IT NOW

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Got this a few months ago, absolute garbage. Half the keys at this point have the same problem you described, never press or double press. They are selling faulty keyboards

YouTube— neutral

It's a briliant keyboard...but the switches s%$%.

YouTube— neutral

Hes right the wireless has some issues i have this for a week and its not working anymore haha thats the problem to this keyboard. But its fine even if I used it in wire.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I got the same problem. Its annoying while gaming :(

YouTube▲ recommend

The difference in sound is crazy.

YouTube— neutral

there’s the switches that die quick, easy swap and valid for a cheap board but the apparent creak when using it for gaming (holding W key to move forward) is inexcusable.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

There are several things I don't like about the keyboard, the keyboard lighting, the flimsy switch to change connection mode and, most importantly, the wifi reconnection.

YouTube▲ recommend

Honestly I actually really like this keyboard.

Reddit▲ recommend

I'd still go with the 5075b Plus because it comes stock with a polycarbonate plate and it's gasket mounted (although pretty stiff).

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

This thing is absolute garbage. I have a dozen mechanical keyboards and this is the only one with the problems I've experienced with it... in the ONE day I've had it.

YouTube— neutral

the only downside that I would give it is the less than ideal RGB, its not that colorful and not as bright as my other keyboards

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I'm disappointed about being expected to clean the insides of the switches every so often and then lube them (and having to buy the supplies required to do this).

YouTube— neutral

I really used to love this keyboard, until five of my cream yellow switches randomly broke.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

so my wired connection just stopped working today! Without any reason. I have the Keyboard for one year and 2 months now and it just doesn’t work anymore.

YouTube▲ recommend

No wireless going bad, I have V3 Cream Blue switches (factory lubed) So far I have it for 2 months.

YouTube— neutral

It is a shame because the keyboard otherwise is exactly what I wanted it to be!

Reddit▲ recommend

If you want something good out of the box, then go for Akko 5075B Plus. A good board even stock.

YouTube— neutral

I've long since upgraded from the 5075b and bought other keyboards but I decided that instead of buying more I want to repurpose this I'd rather leave it in its box, tucked away in my closet.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

same issue it cannot read the keystrokes even with cable its a piece of junk not working as a keyboard. do not buy from this company!

Купил ее в январе, заменил кейкапы и все нравится (купил смазку но стабы лень смазать)

Practical notes owners raise — setup, quirks, and issues to watch for. They don't say whether the person likes the product, so they're not counted in the score, but they inform the pros, cons, and who it's for.

Did you try the linear switches atleast? I want to get this, just want it to have a little thock. Im stuck between getting this, or the new varmillo minilo keyboard that just came out.

Redditⓘ good to know

The IK75 was my original goal but the announcement of the 5075B made me halt my decision. Crazy how that line of dilemmas ultimately led me to settling for the MOD007 LOL

Redditⓘ good to know

Can i ask you about the rgb I just bought mine and the blue doesnt look like blue but more like white and from the videos I have seen they haven’t got this problem

Redditⓘ good to know

Also have the Feker IK75 v3 but the BT + wireless are very flaky on mine, ended up using it in wired. Also just ordered the 5075b+ as I need wireless, the 75% layout plus the 10% discount code had me sold.

Redditⓘ good to know

I just got the 5075 (wired only) just the other day, 369RMB=55USD. The B plus is 499RMB=74USD. Opted for it since I didn't need it to be wireless, and the cost difference was significant. Been using it stock past 2 days.

I am also wondering this. The IK75 battery is much larger than the 5075B Plus though. I wonder if anyone can comment about that?

Redditⓘ good to know

from what I've read from other reviews, you can't change the colors of the side lights in 507b5 plus. You can't also turn it off. But that was a long time ago, Can you confirm if you can change/turn off the side lights now via software?

Redditⓘ good to know

•Akko 5075B+ •90% of the keys use Outemu Silent Lemon switches •Rest are AKKO cream yellow switches •Black and grey keycaps it came with including a few extra white ones from the box Idk what other specs people may want so happy to provide

Hi so I'm planning on buying the Akko 5075b plus, but I have some other options that I think would actually be good, but still don't know which one to get. Would you recommend this board instead of options like the royal kludge m75 or the Keychron V1?

Redditⓘ good to know

What do you mean by "fixed" boards? I was not aware of any issues. Got one off Amazon recently but haven't started using it. I too got the silver switch version in black. I'm now debating whether to get a 2nd one for another PC, or to try IK75 instead.

Redditⓘ good to know

thanks, nice write up. i think i'll go with the 5075b, but wait until it comes up elsewhere, as as well as your comment, i've just seen the little warning in the sidebar about the epomaker site. i think the savings are too great to pass up compared a kit,…

Habe beide Tastaturen mit tape mod. Woran das liegt, keine Ahnung. Habe die 5975 nicht weiter gemodded.

Redditⓘ good to know

Out of curiosity, have you tried it in wireless with the dongle ? If so, how long does it last ?

Redditⓘ good to know

Akko 5075B Plus ist jetzt im Angebot. 50% off. Nur 60 euro. https://akkogear.eu/pages/sale

Redditⓘ good to know

Than the Feker ik75, as well as akko 5075S (5075B was discontinued), I'd recommend you watch a lot of vids on these boards, an pick the one that fits your need better. Of course some boards are easier to mod than others, but I think all of them can be tuned to your liking.

Redditⓘ good to know

You remembered to plug the battery back into the PCB right? And did you make sure to cut holes in the tape for all the connectors on the PCB? I didn't mod my 5075b at all because it had a battery and the case was fragile so unfortunately I don't have any additional insights

To my relief, after a quick inspection and teardown, I haven't found any issues, cosmetic or functional. Left it more or less stock for the time being, though it could use a bit of tweaking. I had these Monster clones that I haven't had a chance to use yet, so they got swapped in.

Redditⓘ good to know

Redditⓘ good to know

U got the fixed version so there will be no problem at all, but no free switches for u and for me as well :(. It's better to get the fixed version instead of the problematic unit with compensation after all. And yea neoprene won't work here, I prepared like 1.5mm neoprene sheet and I think that will be ok.

Redditⓘ good to know

I think the build cost for an IK75 (barebones board + Boba U4 + keycaps) would be about the same as the 5075B (+Boba U4). The stock keycaps are fine for now for the 5075, but for the approximately the same cost in an IK 75 build, I could have exactly what I want. Plus, sounds like IK75 is more mod-friendly.

Redditⓘ good to know

ordered the akko 5075b plus after reading this review. i recently broke my other keyboard, and was looking for something different. im not someone who modifies keyboards, or someone who has built a keyboard before, so the 5075b plus looks, sounds and feels like the best choise for me. great review, thanks.

Redditⓘ good to know

Thanks for the review, I have a couple of question and would be happy if you can answer them. Currently I am also using Feker IK75 and was considering Akko for a change. On Feker you can disable the side and bottom light and only use lights on keys, is a similar thing possible on Akko just by disabling the side lights?
