NuPhy Air75 V2

Based on 203 comments across 3 communities
TL;DR
Praised for its low-profile feel, looks, and switch options, but firmware and connectivity are the persistent complaints: dropped wireless, ghost/repeating keys, and battery issues that custom firmware often can't fully fix.

60% of 203 verified owners recommend the NuPhy Air75 V2.

Just got my preorder with Cowberry switches and am really enjoying it. This being my first low profile mechanical board I was surprised at just how thocky it sounds, as well as the overall quality of the construction and factory lube on the switches and stabilizers.

I brought the Air75v2 last month with Cowberry, coming from 2 years with an MX Keys. I liked the sound but agree, I was making so many typos!

I've been using Air75 v2 for a year now and after trying 7 different firmware updates, Nuphy has been unable to fix an issue where you miss up to 10 keystrokes after the keyboard has gone in deep sleep mode.

But due to the short travel, I like them a lot in my nuphy air75 v2. They feel smooth, bumpy and really nice. I also feel like I type faster.

My Air75v2 was also my first mechanical keyboard and yes, even with Wisterias I had to re-learn how to type, now using too little force. Like after a month later, I stopped misstyping. So, just give it some time.

chose NuPhy Air75 V2 based on look and reviews, but it has been a huge disappointment. Even after many firmware updates, connection problems persist, like keys not register, dropped keys

Bought air75v2 with moss. Changed key caps to shine through and different profile Changed to brown switches Now it’s great!

The Nuphy is a much better experience but the lightweight construction renders it kind of loud, with no room for additional sound deadening, and I feel bad taking it to the office.

after using it for a few days, I have not been able to get used to the low profile combination with Nuphy Keys. I also think the Nuphy is not worth 139.99 or more depending on switch options.

Just received my Air75v2 at work earlier, and had that same wobble. I can confirm that the base is bent, since I checked mine against a calibrated granite surface plate we had at work.

Air75v2, 6 months, then 2 months. First was a swollen battery, second was a warranty replacement, doing this sort of tttttthhhhhhiiiinnnngggggg aaggggaaaaaiiinnnnn.

It’s my go to travel keyboard for my MacBook Pro. I hate typing on laptop keyboards.

I prefer now My Air75v2 with Wisteria ! Love them.

My experience with my air75v2 was bittersweet. Out of the box, it was working fine in wired mode and 2.4ghz, until I started using more in bluetooth and encountered frequent freeze/shutdowns.

I have the exact same problem with my Nuphy Air75 v2 (no charging, wired mode does not work). I'm kind of dissapointed since I purchased it only 3 months ago....

I can tell you how they handled the issues: it took them over a year to provide usable firmware, which tells me everything I need to know about the company.

The Nuphy keyboard is built better and has a better typing sound BUT somehow I feel more comfortable with the Logitech, and I do less typos with it, so I end up using the Logitech most of the time.

I had both as well but ended up keeping the Nuphy Air75v2 (with Moss switches). Reason being the super slow wakeup & connect via Bluetooth of the Lofree. Found that well annoying.

Air75V2 is the most expensive and the worst sounding of the bunch. At one point it was considered one of the best but it’s been surpassed by many keyboards recently released that feel more premium and cost less.

Just got a Nuphy Air75 V2 as a gift, so I've dived into research about the world of mechanical keyboards. Definitely noticing the quality difference, and I'm very happy for it.

Great experience after one year…HOWEVER, every time I connect 3 devices (air75v2+mouse mx3+any bt headphones) when I type on the keyboard the audio stutters badly.

I have the NuPhy Air75 V2 keyboard and using 2.4 wireless + MacOS. It has the odd duplicate pressing sporadically problem. On wired it works flawlessly though.

I never really tried liner switches but damn was is smooth a butter and made any hand fatigue disappear. Such a nice typing experience as well. Never expected to like it the this much.

The air75v2 still has issues a year and a half into its launch. Unless I use a custom firmware the dongle and bluetooth performance is ass. It spams keys constantly when pressed leading to frequent disconnections.
