“I love the feel, I started with Browns in my first keyboard and then like the Moss on the air series, but the raspberry is a pretty moderate feeling linear.”

“I love the feel, I started with Browns in my first keyboard and then like the Moss on the air series, but the raspberry is a pretty moderate feeling linear.”
“Frankly not for me but I could see this being a fun switch for those who enjoy linears but want to try a soft tactile switch.”
“Battery capacity disappointing.”
“This so fare is the best keyboard I have ever tried .I love the feel of this keyboard and the sound of the Raspberry switches.”
“It’s awesome but I’m quite disappointed that they didn’t at least keep the older keycap color schemes.”
“"best" keyboard with plate mount stabs for $150 in 2024? no, thanks :)”
“When using it actively I’ve never met any issues besides when the battery was almost empty.”
“It has been more than a month now since I've been using my Halo 75 V2. It is great!.”
“Looks like a downgrade to V1”
“Absolutely gutted that they switched from the old Gateron switches; loved my BBK to bits.”
“So weird that they took away that CTRL key which I actually do use a LOT to close windows.”
“Just got mine with silent cherry reds... creamy silence :)”
“But overall, I love this keyboard and would buy another.”
“But losing that “Halo” ring around the outside for more RGB turned me away.”
“The issues I experienced do make this harder to recommend wholeheartedly, though”
“Not a huge fan of the badge but the new firmware is a welcome addition.”
“I like the usbc choice 🌹”
“no shine through keycaps to work at night....”
“Sounds very nice right out of the box! Those switches are pretty loud as well so the dampening is doing a lot. Sound much better than the Air V2 I picked up recently.”
“That spacebar sounds kinda bad”
“still not a bad offering but also not that great imo.”
“Extremely disappointed in only those two aspects.”
“Thats a weak ass spacebar”
“I just bought one and replaced the caps with new see thru caps. I love it”

“I only use Bluetooth to type on my steam deck, and it’s so rare I’ve never encountered any issues. I can try actually using BT and report here if it’s better or worse.”
“Thanks for passing on the feedback. Really gotta agree that the new badges make it look cheaper and especially on the cleaner keyboards AIR/HALO, it really sticks out.”
“What’s your honest review Nuphy vs Apple keyboard. I am switching from my MacBook to a Mac mini. Using my Nuphy halo 75 now, but I have a feeling I will sorely missed the Touch ID on my MacBook.”
“I added some foam tape to the inside of my space bar and it made a world of difference in the way it sounds. More thocky and less hollow”
“Agree. I miss the north facing leds. South facing is so obtrusive when I look at the keyboard and see the underglow under the key cap”
“I preferred to install the CFW immediately because it allows me to properly adjust the DEEP Sleep. For features see this reddit post”
“Just hoping the quality of the switches is the same. Are folks happy with the mint/raspberry/lemon switches who have used them?”
“What switches do you use? Planning to buy this in the mojito colour and not sure which to get (mint/raspberry/lemon)”
“Thank you for your suggestion, I will forward it to the design team as a reference for future product design.”
“I'd prefer it without the goofy badge, and would have liked to see more of a premium full aluminum case treatment. Otherwise it's generally got features I'd expect from a v2. Curious if they've done anything make it's namesake, the "Halo" effect, brighter?”
“Just upgraded software+gasket. For v1 users it's not an upgrade but a great update for new customers”
“Why did you install a custom firmware from the get go? Were there issues with the OEM one?”
“Specs: Nuphy Halo75 V2 Keycaps: Kapco Nekomancer Switches: Gatreon silent Red Clear Top”
“Ah I see. I don’t really use shine-through caps, nor had the issues of LEDs being that glaring in my face. I do find south-facing brighter where north is more dilute. You’re right about Nuphy customers not changing their caps, and I guess that’s where we diverge lol I’m all about changing stuff.”
“I am disappointed they went with MSA keycaps”
“I've noticed this is kind of an issue for the Nuphy branded switches. There's some 3rd party firmware that has adjustable debounce settings to mitigate the double-taps. Swapping out the switches for something else may also help the situation. But I'd direct you to the Nuphy Discord and look for Ryo's Halo75v2 firmware.”
