AOC makes the best monitor in this price range but are notorious for their QC

I bought 4 IPS monitors and they all had terrible backlightbleed (2x EX2510, AOC24G2, G27F).

I had the AOC24G2 and it was a great monitor. However, I am now trying to deal with an RMA through them and their support has been awful.

I had the aoc24g2. It was lovely. My only complaint was it's uniformity and the menu made switching between profiles a pain.

Vertical lines are quite common for the 24G2 now. After a year(2 days after local warranty ran out) the lines started to appear slowly until 2 weeks later half the screen was full of them.

the other was the 165 Hz 24G2 gaming monitor. The 24G2 had an issue with weird lines appearing at the bottom literally after 1 year and 6 months of using it almost daily

AOC24G2 (IPS) and G7(VA). AOC produces more vibrant colors but has typical IPS contrast.

I’ve had the 24g2 and it was good but I’m having a lot of dead pixels or something of the like. Mainly across the top edge and on the right corner.

Had the aoc24g2 for more than a year now, no problems until this month.... Striped horizontal lines started showing up on the top and bottom across the screen, tried everything possible and im 99% its a monitor issue.

Practical notes owners raise — setup, quirks, and issues to watch for. They don't say whether the person likes the product, so they're not counted in the score, but they inform the pros, cons, and who it's for.

Redditⓘ good to know

I have this monitor, for those wondering about G sync support. It works, but it will only work if you connect 1 or 2 monitors.

Redditⓘ good to know

The viewing angles are still mediocre though for an IPS and my only real complaint

Redditⓘ good to know

It is bright as fuck but just about gets dim enough on zero for day to day use.

Redditⓘ good to know

Mine has minor IPS glow, which is understandable.
