TL;DR
A go-to affordable 4K work monitor: sharp text, reliable single-cable USB-C with laptop charging, and strong value. Contrast and blacks are merely okay (no IPS Black), and viewing angles draw occasional mild gripes.

ali izbjegni DELL S2722QC. U kombinaciji sa M1 ima problem sa povremenim screen-flickeringom kada otvoriš nešto sa tamnom pozadinom.

the one thing I don't like is that it has a fair amount of IPS glow, that's noticeable when watching movies in the dark.

It eliminated the flickering and now I'm happy.

I use this monitor with my Mac and it's been great.

Dell S2722QC (27”, 4K) using USB-C on the iPad Pro M4 (my only computer). Works great thanks to Stage Manager. However, this Dell is only windows compatible so I can’t update its firmware.

I returned the Dell S2722QC the next day due to its awful color saturation.

I got this recently and it’s pretty good. It has usb-c, so you can charge your laptop or phone with it. It also has portrait mode. Only negative is that it’s very heavy.

This Dell S2722QC 27-inch 4k display is utterly fantastic for the price I got on Amazon ($279).

I have a s2722qc and it's a pain, it keeps turning into this weird flickering and ghosting mode every now and then when you have too many gray shades on the screen (known bug).

Amazon has a great price on the Dell S2722QC ($379) 4k, IPS, 60w charging via USB C. Happy with the purchase, looks great. Viewing angle is a little bad but when I’m working I don’t notice too much that I’m not looked my at an apple screen.

It does not work, I connect my monitor via type c to the T480 and get only 30 hertz in 4k (Dell S2722QC (210-BBRQ)), although the documentation says 60. Another laptop outputs 60 hertz...

Dell S2722QC. Great for productivity work and great value for the price. Not stunning, but better than expected and more than good enough to tide one over until you can get one of the Apple monitors.

Jedan je crkao pa sam zamijenio s Dell S2722QC, i isto sam zadovoljan. nemam problema s rezolucijom.

New monitor came in with some defect? There is some gap between the screen and panel. I was wondering if this is normal? It's very visible and distracting during daylight.

If you want a budget monitor, I received Dell S2722QC and it is quite decent for the price. It is a 4K 27" monitor with 163ppi pixel density.

I've used both the dell and m32u both perform great for work/gaming

I have two Dell S2722QC screens. At this point, I reached out to both Apple and Dell and of course Apple didn’t have any thing to offer other then call Dell. If I walk away for 20 minutes or an hour and come back, my machine is always shut down

Dell S2722QC is pretty decent, not the most colour accurate and for some reason VRR doesn’t work but it is pretty bright and sharp, and cheap

After 2 hours with AppleCare support on the phone tonight, I came to the same conclusion with my Dell S2722QC.

I have a Dell S2722QC, 4K for under £300. The sound is terrible, but I didn't buy it for that and just don't play anything on it.

Main monitor is a Dell U2723QE and the side monitor is a Dell S2722QC. The main monitor is able to charge the Macbook which is nice for cable management. I have no complaints.

I have an S2722QC. It has a completely bonkers gamma curve in every mode. There's no true gamma control available either, just a "Dark Stabilizer" and whatever gamma differences there are between the preset modes (none of them anything close to normal).

I have a similar S2722QC. It’s fine but had I thought about it a little longer I would have gone with a 1440 one instead.

Reddit▲ recommend

I just use the Dell S2722QC. It’s a dream monitor for clarity and viewing angles without having fork out big bucks for the Ultrasharp range. The monitor has USB C for video and charging your laptop.

Redditⓘ good to know

The Dell S2722QC I use at the office connected to a MBP 14 M1 does occasionally have some minor flicker with VRR enabled. Having experienced the horrors of VA flicker in the past though, this one is quite mild.

Redditⓘ good to know

I ran into this problem with two Dell S2722QC monitors connected to my M1 Pro MacBook Pro via an OWC Thunderbolt dock. It didn’t happen every time, but frequently when the laptop would wake from sleep or reconnect to the dock, the orientation would reverse
