“Holy shit, I didn't realize what I was missing.”
“You did not mention about low contrast (even compared to other IPS models), lack of the Swivel option”
“the connection inputs are perpendicular to the panel. This makes it super hard to wall mount with some VESA mounts”
“LG is always close but never perfect”
“the only thing I hated on their monitor is the crappy power adapter always breaking up a year or later of use”
“Would happily main this for all games.”
“Just picked one of these up last week. Happy with it so far. It feels like a pretty solid upper mid-range choice.”
“There is definately a HUGE difference between 165Hz and 180Hz. The difference between 180Hz and 240Hz however is harder to spot.”
“in dark/shadowed areas and night scenarios in games the image is uncharacteristically and unexpectedly dark and it's really hard to see details”
“the 650 was the better panel. The backlight is way better and uniform. If you look at the 850 from any other angle from the center, you will notice the contrast change”
“glad I did so much better picture quality and ips glow very minimal. This seems great monitor”
“I wish these monitors had remotes to use rather than to have to click that annoying button”
“capped at 144hz instead of being at 165 and the Overclock option for 180hz is also greyed out”
“have had a couple of LG monitors and the only real issue for me is that they sometimes have a issue with recognizing video output after going into sleep mode.”
“pretty happy with this, good deal for $380”
“This monitor has average contrast performance, even compared to other IPS options though. I bought it anyway and am not disappointed :)”
“This monitor looks really good actually. LG did a great job on this.”
“When I connect this monitor with Display port 1.4 cable and set refresh rate to 165Hz I get lots of backlight flickering.”
“Not going to lie though, I had to very much tone down the default colour settings because it was making my face bleed and eyes burn.”
“Just got this monitor 2 weeks ago amazing monitor”
“the IPS glow on mine is horrible on the left side and not only in black scenes”
“I got this monitor as everyone recommended it but i have terrible experience.”
“i decided to buy it!”
“Love the colors vibrant. Only downside is contrast when playing dark games.”

“There is nothing like best, it depends on everyone's unique requirements and budget. Here is brief list of mine: 1. Logitech MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard 2. Monitor: Using 2, LG Ultragear 27GP850 and BenQ Gw2790Qt 3. BenQ Screen Bar 4. One Wood Monitor Stand and One Monitor Arm 5. Logitech G304 Mouse 6.”
“I wouldn't say they have awful response times and color at all, just not great. The budget monitors have definitely been getting better in quality with lower prices, including mid-range options. My monitor, LG 27GP850 launched at $500 about 4 years ago.”
“I know that it also has an LG 27GP850-B in this price range, but it's an old panel right?”
“There's little games if any that are 4k 120 so it's really a waste of time. Even pc gamers play 1440p. So any 27 inch 1440p will get you great results . Dell G2724D is only £200. Asus XG27ACS £269 or LG 27GP850. £300.”
“[Try using RTINGS settings](https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27gp850-b-27gp83b-b) They have recommended sets of settings for lowest response time etc. as well as full testing and the lowest it will get. It won’t get much better than that.”
“Ada kualitas ada harga, cm orang indo gampang tergoda barang yg terlalu murah, ditawarin harga segitu pasti ngedumel If it's too good to be true it probably is. belanja elektronik dri dulu gitu Gue sendiri pake refresh nya monitor lu, LG 27GP850. dapet di harga 5.2 di 2021.”

“Also it is 180hz so will be smoother.”
“I use the lg 32gp850, 1440p hdr 180hz. It gets somewhere around 400+ nits of brightness but don't expect the brightest display. It comes in a 27 inch version too, the lg 27gp850”
“It has the best color accuracy at 96% DCI-P3 > LG Ultragear 27 inch 27GP850-B This has LG Nano IPS technology. It's not as good as Quantum Dot, but it's an intermediate.”
“Yes it’s rated at HDR10. But the 27inch variant of the same monitor (27GP850) is rated at HDR400. There were a few reviews where I saw the 32 inch variant pushing to HDR400.”
“I'd love an OLED monitor but i have a C1 and a LG Ultragear 27GP850 which was about 350. I can't justify paying about €700 more for something that has a chance of burning in.”
“That's nice. I'm aiming to get the LG 32 1440p ultra gear ips instead of the curved VA. I'm going to replace my LG 27gp850-b then from there I'll decide if I'll go triples”
“This build offers extreme power and performance to keep up with these stellar monitors, and would be an amazing upgrade over my current dual LG UltraGear 27GP850-B setup!”
“They could've put HDMI 2.1 in it but they didn't. If they did I'm pretty sure we would get VRR 1440p @120hz. Luckily for me I primarily use it with my gaming pc though.”
“Looks like the LG 27GR75Q has a lower max refresh rate, 165Hz vs 180Hz. Also less glare reduction. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/lg-27gp850-b-27gp83b-b-vs-lg-27gr75q-b/24452/44761”
“LG 27gp850 But i have lg flatron which is kept in safely in storeroom which is actually my first monitor ever (2004-05) but it is kept as souvenir at this point.”
“Interesting. I hadn’t considered that. I currently have a LG Ultragear QHD nano ips monitor (27GP850) which supports 2560x1440 p. It’s definitely not 4K compatible”
“It is an edge lit IPS monitor, which means it has poor contrast, OK brightness, and good response time (all edge lit IPS monitors do). As far as edge lit IPS monitors go, this is the top of its class.”
“I bought my 'current' LG 27GP850 about 3 years ago too. I went with 360Hz 1440p because I play a lot of competitive games (also top 1% in Valorant) and wanted to upgrade from 180Hz to something higher.”
“Remember me? I bought the lg 27GP850 for 26.6k? Well i cancelled it 😅 https://imgur.com/a/NJTAzgN And bought it again for 22k 😎 https://imgur.com/a/XBEXerP Will review and update once it comes in.”
“Looking for a 27inch 1440p gaming monitor under 40k. How are the LG 27GP850-B (Nano IPS) and the Acer Nitro XV275K P3 (Mini LED VA). Are there any better options out there? thank you and happy new year!”
“I changed Adaptive-Sync/VRR/G-sync from "Extended" to "Basic" in monitor settings and it fixed the issue. Also I have lowered contrast in monitor menu and nVidia control panel. My monitor is LG 27gp850-b”
“LG Ultragear **27GP850-B** and LG 27GL83A-B are same . [https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27gp850-b-27gp83b-b](https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27gp850-b-27gp83b-b) See the contrast ,…”
