I bought the 900 proX as my first high end headphone for mostly gaming and music. They caused me to spend another 2k on speakers and a schiit stack because id never heard such beatiful sounds. Worth it

Tried using my DT900 Pro X on a train ride to school, never gonna do it again, can literally hear everything except the music.

Had it happen on mine initially, no issues at all after getting them exchanged for a new pair.

I have one and the bass is not bad.

900 sounds more natural, intimate and less fatiguing but it doesn't stage the same way.

I just had these and returned them. Too sibilant. Those Ss and Ts were killing me.

bought the DT900 Pro X open back headphones, but even with the bass boost on in EQ, the bass was too weak and didn't create as full or immersive a sound as I wanted

I really like my beyerdynamic dt 900 pro x's but when I try to use them now they clamp the hell out of my head

I'm a music producer and mix my own songs and these headphones are a god sent!!! made my mixes way better and more accurate.

Least favourite I own atm would prob be the DT900 Pro X. I don’t dislike it by any means but I don’t have a use for it and it’s not particularly excellent at anything.

Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X - I really love the bass extension and the sparkle in the treble can be nice for certain songs.

there's the Dt900 Pro X at $270, however I didn't like the clamping force and I tolerated the HD58x's break in, nor did I enjoy the sound profile

I bought the DT 900 Pro X right after release and I'm very pleased with them.

Reddit▼ don’t recommend

I don't like them. They sound hollow and empty. I've tried messing with my DAC. And APO EQ and they just don't have any bottom to them at all.

There are aspects of the 900 Pros I prefer to the 990s, but I would rarely recommend a Beyerdynamic set in the current market, where there are much better options.

I am very pleased with the sound of the DT900Pro X!

My experience with owning beyerdynamic dt 900 pro x The headband pleather came off in few months, real pathetic quality I would say

I have the DT900 Pro X headphones and I would not recommend them for mixing a track if that is what you're considering. They are amazing as studio headphones for creative work

after using dt900 more than 2 years, here's my thoughts: * it's semi-open earcups, definitely has better bass than ad900x * spare parts can be easily change (earpads, cable & headband)

I got it, and is was such a dissapointment 🥵 It sounds like a close headphone. No soundstage at all. Returned it back 🤷🏻‍♂️

Got mine today, so pleased with them. Sounds better than some headphones I've tried for double the price or maybe more.

this headphone's bass is slightly underpowered, so it's not recommended for bass-head. I love this thing for orchestral and fast-pacing songs it doesn't mash up the sound between instruments and vocals

I absolutly hated the dt900 pro x, there was just no bass in there just nothing. And they are heavy 360grams i believe.

I def. would recommend them.
